Are there any write-ups online? My LG went out and because it was a common occurrence, there was a fix online. I laid it out on the table, broke out the soldering iron and went to work... Besides a DIY fix, I don't know have any recommendations. Good luck...

For sure. I've been working on a WP7 app off and on for the past year. I'm hoping to finish it up in a month. It's fairly large, syncs with a server, and has an accompanying website, so it's taking a while to get done. Especially only working nights/weekends on it.
