what would be good cheap ones? growing up all I rode was platforms. I am guessing I will like it. but yeah, 70 is a bit much for me right now. something in the 40 range or less would be sweet. I know I don't want cheap plastic things.
LOL...do really think Chet has gone biking? Chet, give me those instead of a pack of smokes...I know what you got them for
If I can barrow that would be great. thanks chet how cheap? call me tomorrow and I will let you know if you should grab them for me or not.

BUMP for tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This will be sooo much fun! Meet at the parking lot at 6:30PM http://www.morcmtb.org/trailreviews/metro/lebanon.shtml?Id=13
Guys - please check the MORC site to make sure the trail is good to go. Do not ride wet trails or you will be smited.
I am able to get off of work early so I'll be down there.. can't wait, I haven't riden Lebanon since last year.
I checked morc. nothing about it being closed today. with the amount of foliage out there it doesn't get a tremendous amount of rain like one might think. It's sunny today so I'd be surprised if the trails weren't perfect. you going to show up sean or is this your way of backing out?
I'll probably still show just to make sure nobody tries to ride... Leb is getting hit. Call no joy. Live to ride another day.
Looks like you guys need to wait till next week, or Sean's gonna give you the smack down at the gate.
Do you ever speak real english? Yeah, Leb got hit real hard and so did the rest of the Southern burbs. Nobody could give me the smack down, especially when I'm on my bike...they would become road kill Agreed though, riding on wet trails gets people pissed. Not cool Change of plans peeps. The only other nice place to ride that has not been hit is Battle Creek. Still dry and no rain there. If anyone is interested I'm still game...and it's a nice place to ride. Respond if you're interested Battle Creek- 7PM http://www.morcmtb.org/wiki/index.php/Battle_Creek
Battle Creek sounds fine. We may continue to get t-storms throughout the evening, however. Maybe best to plan a new night?
People on MORC hate it when people ride the trail after a rain shower. It leaves tread marks and leaves brake holes in the downhill sections. Because of the storm that just passed over Eagan today, I'll postpone the ride for now and wait for a sunny day. If you guys do go out there, just be careful.
We're not going to Leb. I agree, wet trails FTL! Battle Creek was not hit.....so we're good to go for a dry ride over there
not even close.....Leb you have to keep a higher pace for longer periods of time. BC you can take it easier and the climbs...although steeper are short, very short
Everyone going.... Meet at the Douglas Street entrance at 7PM HIGHWAY 94 easiest is 94 east to highway 10 South. Highway 10 south to Lower Afton Road (Left exit at light) Go one block and tun Left on Douglas street. Go to the end of the road and park in the lot. OR 494 East to highway 10 North Highway 10 North to Lower Afton road (Right exit at lights) Go one block and tun Left on Douglas street. Go to the end of the road and park in the lot.
Oh, I've been to Battle Creek. I rode there a month ago from my house at Metrostate University. It's a nice ride with bridges and all but no jumps or obstacles like Leb. I'll do my best to make it out.
don't be a poop, come play. kickin81- they've added a few sections this summer, have you ridden them?
Huh? Battle Creek is categorically more aerobically challenging than Leb. Are you sure you ride the whole thing? Regardless, Leb is more fun and "flowy" and the superior option if both are ridable, to me. Chet - no gasoline powered bikes permitted.
