not sure what more they can do for the 5100....higher iso? more af points? def more mp...you should be good with the 3100 for awhile... as far as ultra wideangles....i was able to snag a 12-24 f:4 promaster lens(made by tokina) for a relatively inexpensive price and it works wonders...but seeing that you are going to be getting the 3100 or one of the newer dslr's that wont work as you'll have to get AF-S lens for it to autofocus which you'd probably have to cough up some more money for like the 10.5 fish or something...
So do you think the 3100 would be better then the 5000? I really dont mind the manual focus but I think it would be nice for follow filming on the video end to have auto .... decisions...
Finally got around to converting my infrared shots to b&w... (Too big to put inline) http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh129/predavore/Travels/DSC01346_bw.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh129/predavore/Travels/DSC01278_bw.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh129/predavore/Travels/DSC01137_bw.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh129/predavore/Travels/DSC01131_bw.jpg (Sony 6mp cybershot converted to IR)
^ awesome IR shots. I have always wanted to try and shoot IR. I think it would be interesting to shoot at night with an IR flashlight/flash of some sort.
You and me both.... *edit* Here are the rest of them... http://s255.photobucket.com/albums/hh129/predavore/Travels/?albumview=slideshow
Recently relocated to Colorado! Been doing a lot of hiking and playing with my new camera! Give me some feed back guys. http://www.flickr.com/photos/40252027@N04/sets/72157625207814948/
I am not a camera buff, but I sure love disc golf. That is an amazing looking place, thanks for sharing.
I'd be more than happy selling you a print of it. My buddy does my framing, he works at Metro Frame, and does it on the side for me at a extremely discounted rate. So I dont get to pick my frames usually, but he has never let me down.
First picture of my new Subaru. Well new to me anyway. Not the best pic, but I thought it looked pretty cool. Now I need some pics in the snow!
I used to have that model civic (based on the tail lights anyway). It was a '92 CX... After lowering it with Neuspeed racing springs adding lots of vinyl graphics, tinting the windows and tossing a couple of 12 in subs in the back it was a blast! Then I moved to Minneapolis and some a$$ hole stole it. I've always assumed that they saw the pillar mounted tach and thought it was fast but the joke was on them. Not only was it the slowest model Honda made that year, it also died just two blocks from my house after they took it. Ha! Ah to be 19 again.
Actually, this is a 2000 Civic, but yeah, similar tails. Civics get stolen every day in the cities haha. That's why this thing not coming to school with me. Also, no plans to make it look like it came out of Fast and Furious, but back when that came out, I remember telling myself I needed a black ej8 with green neon. *facepalm*
I love my svx too... But its kinda spendy for me.. (doesnt help I have 4 cars and going to college 30 miles from where I live... Lol)
i was going to pick one up for a DD but the known trany issues along with wheel bearings kept me from pulling the trigger. Now if you could get one with a manual i would jump on it in a heartbeat.
