I've seen a few like that in Bloomington while driving around once. Albino Squirrels. Not to common. Nice Shots to!
the second one looks the best to me. i like the composition of the first one better but it looks like there might have been a tiny bit of camer shake. i always have that problem with my hand held shots. i make sure to take more than i think ill need just to be safe that some turn out really good. but animals might not sit still long enough. cool shots though!
Here are a few from my last trip to the cities (Be Nice I was drunk for most of them) Comments welcome!
This guy is a friend of my brothers...some of the pics are pretty eye opening, 'In Katrina's Wake' and 'Running the Numbers' especially!! http://www.chrisjordan.com
AWD, i like the 'LOL' pic... that, well it makes me lol your other pics are really nice too. i think the one with all the light poles is an interesting perspective. holster, thanks for the comments on the squirrel pics. yah there might be some camera shake, i took a few quickly from in my car cuz i figured the critter might dart away at any second... and i didn't want to upset someone for being in their yard taking pics. also i'm new with the editing, so maybe fiddling with 'sharpness' more would help? carl, a lotta nice shots from BIR! (i looked at the rest of them in your gallery). looks like it was a beautiful day, and those puffy clouds look like they are 3D!
camera shake is a disease with no cure. once a picture has it, its gonna have it forever unless your photoshop skillz are crazy profesional. its all about finding a sterdy moment. faster shutterspeeds, maybe lean up on something, or let the camera rest on a prop.
a bored cuz i cant sleep edit session. 5 image tone map HDR its a little harsh but im tired and was just trying to edit something. i was at work sitting around the driving range at Brookview when i took this a couple days ago. right before it started raining
Sweet shot! I like how you framed the sky with the trees. I have some storm photos I want to post as well, Ill get them up soon Dave
here it is... the only photo i felt like actually editing from the last tuesday calhoun meet. this bike was totally badass! loud as hell and looked good parked by the subarus that showed up. people come to these meets! the bikes and other cars that are in the area are great and the lake is beautiful with downtown in the distance
Figured I would post up a few shots. Nothing amazing, but I think they are pretty good for just a point and shoot. Also my first attempt at doing some photo stitching (needs improvement lol).
Couple shots from the new camera. I tweaked the contrast in the leaves shots by just a touch to get that extra color. Let me know what you think.
Announcement- Calendar If any of you photo gurus have high quality shots of MNSOC member cars please see the 2009 Calendar thread in the MNSOC forum. thanks!!!
I was shooting with the 18-55mm IS kit lens. I had the camera set on aperture priority (Av mode) and had the F as low as it would go. Letting in alot of light makes the background all nice and fuzzy. I bumped the contrast up in the leave pics to bout +20 in photoshop. Actual settings: Shutter Speed: 1/99 second F Number: F/5.6 Focal Length: 48 mm ISO Speed: 100 I am surprised how easy it is to rack up the shots. I already have taken ~100pics and I have only been shooting inside my home and on the deck over the last 2 days lol. I am lookin forward to the weekend.
I picked up a digital camera over the weekend. Thank you Boss Sti! As soon as I figure out how to use this thing I'll be putting up some pics for you kids to enjoy. I guess I'll have to come up with a logo and start dropping black borders on there... I'm pumped.
/\/\ If I had a bit more time, I would do it Bielknutz. But, I have to get my garage finished and some mud flaps cranked out first. I'll hit you up in a couple weeks when I'm done with all that and we'll play the weather.
I might be interested. I havent tried shooting a car yet, so it could be interesting. I did pick up a polarizing filter and a tripod recently though. Which are probably good things to have for shoot a shiny car. I am going to try shooting mine on the next nice day and see how it goes. In the mean time, here are some of my more recent shots.
Scary stairs taken with a canon Xsi during my parking ramp shoot. Handheld bracketed shot. Gotta love the IS lens.
