    Quick reminder:

If you've got access to your own ear/eye protection you'll want to bring it instead of renting ear muffs/glasses at the range. If you already wear glasses they'll count those as eye protection.

I recommend plugs for anyone shooting any sort of long gun (rifle or shotgun) as muffs can get moved around when you're getting your cheekweld on the stock. Plugs won't mess up your positioning. YMMV

Just regular ear plugs, Brian? I have a couple boxes of those in the garage. I'll bring a handful in case anyone needs some.

Yeah, just regular foam ear plugs work great.

I've got a set of Surefire Sonic Defenders that are the cats ass. Comfy and very effective.

We had a great time today. It's always nice seeing familiar faces as well as the new ones. Not really the place to do a whole lot o chatting but it looked as though everyone else was having a good time. Now it's time to get the ol ammo cabinet back closer to capacity;)

This was the most fun I've had at an MNSubaru event... probably ever.

Huge thanks to Brian, the encyclopedia britannica for guns, for all the direction, knowledge, encouragement, and ammo!

And thanks Ben for letting me handle your manly gun... no homo.

Water pistol next to the 454 Casull I once had the chance to squeeze off. Really sad I missed this. Is this an annual thing?

I've got the 512 but I'd like to change it over to one of the XPS-2 models. A bit lighter and it takes up less rail space.

Sheen, it was my pleasure. We'll get your wife out one of these days and get her up to speed. That little Ruger 10/22 will be perfect for her.

I'm glad everyone had a good time, this was one of the better attended events that I've been to and I really enjoyed this one.

Ben, that revolver is a lot of fun. I want one of the S&W Performance Center revolvers, the R8 makes me feel funny in my pants.

I'm sorry I missed this. I was planning on going but called to go work in CA. Hopefully I can make it to the next one or just over to Bill's in Robbinsdale with a couple of people some night.
