That looks pretty cool. I wish that you could zoom in more on the pics, I wanted to take a closer look at the wing. Does it say anywhere in that article what wing that is? Or can anybody read the article even!! :)

Let taras keep talking. Ill send bruce from maaco over his way, crunch in his fender :)

Seriously though, have you ever been in a EG33 vehicle? The svx is still fast and fun even though it weighs 15866586586 pounds. I suggest you go drive one, do some actual research, take a ride in the eg33 wagon (lou's?) Then come back and we'll listen to your opinions.

I love my EJ257, but I also really love the EG33. Even being a total junker (fixeruper) the svx is fun as hell.

I spose that's enough ranting from work.

Oh, p.s. I'd love to see the results of a crash between ur sti and an svx. One of us'll just need a bit of buffing.

Well if I am such an idiot, please tell me why 99% of the people here get jdm sti motors and wrx motors to swap into their cars and not the svx motor?

um, well considering the block in stock form has been proven to 500+...i think taras, yeah, you are retarded.

btw, my buddy in England has already hit the 430hp 470tq....at the wheels :) so...and thats with pistons, rods, head gasket, phelonic spacers and a super charger from an XKE-R. if you want to keep up this coversation, be my guest. but i promise you, i know more about the motor than you EVER will.

btw, power cut limp mode, awd, auto puts down 110hp 115tq at the wheels running 22:1 LMFAO

The world is held together by porn.

This thread has caused me great strife. Now I am compelled to learn all about the potential of a boosted EG33 swap instead of a boosted H6 for the dragwagonofcertaindeath.

    Cool thread.

There have been discussions and delving into a turbo, even twin-turbo, SVX plants but it will be $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in order to make it not a-splode as soon as the turbo(s) spool.

bull, there are a few turbo'd SVXs running around, most of the owners dont even do "the exhaust" which to them is when they put a magnaflow on the back instead. these cars are rarely modded, you just need to know of the people behind the scenes to find the fun ones.

Turbocharging an SVX is about as difficult as doing a rotated mount on any EJ car, meaning its not that hard if you know what you are doing. Turbo systems all work the same. You need to plum them, get coolant and oil to and from the turbo, and manage your fuel and timing. Not rocket science.

The block is an open deck, but that can be fixed just like any Honda. There is good power to be had without digging into the motor anyways. Look what an EJ25D can support with proper tuning.
