A little tiny bit here in Shoreview. A client further north (Detroit Lakes area) told me an hour ago that they'd closed up all the highways and she wasn't even sure if she'd be able to get home.
I'm glad my car is in a paint booth right now (or in and out of it at this point) as I'd rather have it there looking "almost" like new
Not here. This one is supposed to mostly miss us - maybe an inch overnight tonight. But I guess I can't complain too much: we got 4 inches on Sunday. Except that it's been 40+ degrees since then and it's almost all gone again. I wish it would just dump 3 inches a day on us for a week and a half, maybe two weeks, and then it could be spring; BAM, 50 degree days, above freezing at night, spring. Oh well, I guess it is March so I should just take my Hakka's and go home.
We got probably a solid 4'' yesturday. So far today with probably got at least 5" and have had 20+mph winds all day. I just had to shovel 3 feet of snow out of my driveway so i could park in it
O ya! The back is loving me!! I am about to venture outside. I forgot to put the windshield wipers up!!! I bet my car is completely snowed in. Feel sorry for the roomates, I'm just going to bust out when I leave tomorrow, ahah! I am going to take some pics when I get up in the AM!
Not snowing anymore, now its just rain. SWEET. That'll make people drive even NICER! WOOOOO!! [/sarcasm]
Just when you think you might be able to wash the car outside again.....winter comes back around. Booooouuuurrrrnnnnsss!
I hate the snow, that doesnt make me a n00b. How many inches of snow does my car take? and whats MY price on snow PER INCH?
http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/55106?from=36hr_fcst10DayLink_undeclared I doubt we'll get that much snow... Scratch that, I HOPE we don't get that much snow haha
Yeah, it's from a private meteorologist from the Upper Peninsula, so he can occasionally be a bit "optimistic" about snow fall totals. I just wanted to give all of you with the summers on already a little uneasiness
does not bother me. I have driven from moorehead to alex with 2 inches of ice on the roads while it was still snowing without a problem. beside, I wont be going anywhere that I have to drive, I will just stay in if need be.
None of it will make its way down here. maybe eleven snowflakes, probably mostly wet heavy **** mixed with rains.
Again, over the weekend it was "zomg 12" of snow!"...now I bet we don't even get anything... If anything this snow was going to make me feel better about not having my summer wheels and tires yet.
They do tend to hype it up quite a bit. Luckily it will be gone within 3 or so days, but i'm sure they are gonna salt the roads like its going out of style.
