just slushy here! NICE! this will all be gone right away! 60 monday! whoop whoop. i checked with the weather and they say that the winter storm watch has been called off for the metro area because its only rain and slush. sweet lets get back on the road to summer!

Actually. It's funny you mention that. They tested the sirens here today when the rain was pouring. THERE THEY GO AGAIN. OK now i'm really creeped out.
More Snowzzz, about 3 inches and it's sticking here in Fargo. I left work around 8:30 and got home around 12:30, all on a quarter tank. :biggrin:
Suddenly not buying summer tires yet doesn't seem like such a bad choice after all. I'm not taking off the snows until July.
Snowing in downtown Minneapolis right now, and I had to drive in it. (Sport Z1 SSes are not good cold tires). Not sticking though, thank god. I'm moving to guam.

where beth and I moved down from got 12+ inches yesterday and it is still snowing up there. it is damn near may... WTF is going on with our weather. Oh well.

WTF-My last weekend to work in the middle of no where and we end up getting about 18 inches of snow total. I drove home friday night-a 15 minute drive ended up taking over an hour...then, 1/2 mile from home, I got stuck on the road!! There was so much snow and ice on the road that the mazda 6 with all seasons couldnt make it. I had to be towed the rest of the way. They didnt plow our county road until 4 pm yesterday....my neighbor tried to got to town at 2 pm and got stuck in the same spot as I did with her 4X4 explorer! At least I got to play hookie from work...that has to be the only good thing to come from this nasty storm!!
it snowed a little bit this afternoon down in canon falls as we were getting ready to leave. if it snows in may I'm going into hibernation
Yeah, I'm bumping this thread...I heard something last night about this Sunday, and possibly some flurries/snow showers? Is it really that time already?
