our back porch is covered in a snowy ice mixture. The cars were covered. Roads weren't slick though. Also, it's still coming down.
yeah i agree!! left work tonight and was not to bad. got on a side street and was crossing a bridge and the light turned red hit the breaks and slid all the way across the bridge. luckly no one was around though!!!!
I just woke up - snow reflecting mall across the street = bright as daylight. Took a spin around blaine, about a half inch to an inch everywhere. ws-60's make it boring.
WOW fun if it's just you Take advantage of the snow tire group-buy in the For Sale/WTB forum. Nokians on the car starting at $600!
yesterday I was towing my trailer with a steel work-bench out to my new house on dirt road.... yay for boost... front end kept crawling to the ditch....
It just plain wouldnt be fun, you couldnt get any speed built up, awd can only do so much when there is that much snow.
wow, first winter out in the sti. i was deprived last winter holy crap, boo salt. The roads should always be covered in snow!
Dammit, it was snowing at 2 last night? I guess I should have looked out my window, I was up until at least 3.
Not even enough to do E brake slides down here in Apple Valley!! I bought new winter tires and a set of rims for my car and haven't even had a chance to put them on.
You're hitting the wrong spots then! I was out at 8:30 this morning having a blast through Eagan and down Johnny Cake to Menards in Apple Valley.
I was working from 1am til 11 and was everywhere from Apple Valley to Andover and besides a few side streets and the parking lots at 5am it's pretty weak. Plus this was all with my Civic(much better gas mileage for driving for work).
Rochester has gotten about an inch of sloppy stuff so far according to my perfectly calibrated "deck railing". Glad to finally see some white stuff come down since it's been cold enough for it now for weeks. -Steve
It is snowing in eden prairie right now. been doing so for about 10-15 min and we have about a half inch on the ground
I like the sound of that. Someone just had to convince me to go outside and look to see that it was actually snowing here (didn't look like it through the window). So, not as heavy here, yet.
lol - and I'm trying to wear mine out so I have a reason to buy new ones next season to fit my new wheels.
