I really dont get on it too much but i still get lower millage. Oh well, its fine i get 20 and thats already good.
the old Taras is back.... Telling someone like Brian who has stated the MOST obvious statements out of all this thread to get lost is stupidity personified... yes he picks on you.. so did I... Brian is a top class guy, who just can't stand stupid!!! not calling YOU personally stupid but sometimes your posting doesn't leave people much else to go with... as has been stated... each car is different even with the EXACT same mods... that's why as BRIAN the one who is gonna find a dEEr to shoot, has offered you the perfect comment... you keep adding stuff to your car... you drive like a madman.. you say you don't but your opinion of madman and ours is like comparing Wee man to John Holmes.... Wee mans pecker may look huge on a midget but JOhn Holmes' pecker looks huge on... well an elephant... its all in perception
^ Umm yeah because I ALWAYS reference other dudes c0ck size .... Nate on the other hand well lets just say you make me wonder ...
good to know that I make you wonder/curious.. but really I dont swing like that... I can't keep up with the wife yet alone try to satisfy a guy who likes gas nozzles stuck in orifices (of his vehicle)
Sigh. You just aren't getting it. I'm trying to point out that you don't have an issue, other than the one between your ears. You're trying to get two opposite ends of the spectrum to coexist. You want performance? Forget about mileage. You want mileage? You may want to start dialing back on the mods. This is one of the most basic of basic things when it comes to cars, bikes, trucks or anything else with an internal combustion engine. You want to go faster? You need more energy. Where do you find energy? Fuel and air. So, if you want to go faster you're going to need to add more of both of them, so your economy is going to be the first thing to suffer. Yes, I'm more blunt with you than I am with anyone else on here. Do I feel bad about that? Nope. Not in the least. What I'm hoping is that sometime you might actually start researching some of these questions instead of coming to us for advice on the simplest of issues. If you had a for real issue that you couldn't find the answer to after searching and researching, then I'd be one of the first to help out, as I have many times both on this board and in real life for other members. It's not like I was just suddenly born knowing about these cars. Hell, I didn't know much about cars until I turned 16, and I didn't know anything about Subarus until 6 years ago. I spent a lot of time reading and searching and working to get to this point, and I'm smart enough to know that there's still a lot I can learn, which is why I spend time reading articles and searching for info rather than posting up every time a though crosses my head. You haven't even made the effort, instead you rely on everyone elses knowledge to further yourself. And while I think it's funny that you keep bringing up my other hobby, you might want to get your facts straight. I don't hunt. Not too worried. See my avatar Thanks Nathan. Nice to see that someone is getting it
I know you have a personal issue with me. Big part of it is because you are on the other specturm on pretty much any issue. And that fine. And I think that its the reason why you pick at every post I make. I did research the mileage issue and saw a lot of probe who run stage 2 and get better fads millage than me. And speaking of me driving like mad, it totally not true if I drove like mad I would already have many ticket. I yet to have one! And I guess the mileage is just the tune that is running a bit on a rich side. I was looking for answears and a lot of people gave me some answears. And another thing everyone here get so mad about me asking questions but is that really that bug of a deal to just answear it without being a **** and get a thank you for typing a few words? Some of you here are just so cool and knowlageble that you get offended that some ask trivial questions
ha hah maybe if you didnt type on that damn iphone it wouldnt be so hard for the communications channels to be opened... ha haha
So comparing two cars on the basis that they're both "Stage 2" (whatever a stage 2 Probe might be) means you'll get the same mileage? Nope. Look at your drivetrain configuration. FWD vs AWD, Turbo vs N/A. Once again, this is basic, basic stuff. If you're looking for mileage, you're driving the wrong vehicle. Period. You're never going to break 30 mpg, not unless you're coasting down the backside of a mountain with a stiff tailwind and in neutral. And ticket count is not an indicator of driving style, it just means you haven't been caught yet. Give it time. As far as giving you answers, I gave you two very good ones, but you couldn't see past getting butthurt long enough to actually take in what I was telling you.
I was typing on the phone and obviously I am not talking about a probe. The word was "people". Stage 2 probe,LOL. Would that be rims, ebay filter and a welded fart can?
Entirely off topic, but how the bloody hell are you getting 28mpg city? An inquiring 2.5i owner would like to know.
Taras, you need to understand that many of your answers are quite easily found by searching or doing a bit of research. Many people on here have already covered the same topics many times before with other newbies and just simply don't want to keep repeating themselves. Not only that, but by this point searching would be way faster than making a new post that people either don't understand because there's too many typos or posts that irritate them because they've given the same explanation dozens of times before and spend 2 pages razzing you first.
There are going to be a lot of bugeyes in the not too far future that are going to fall into that category now that they can be had for under $10k.
Wait a fuggin minute...Juan Holmes died of aidz and Wee Man is still fuggin. I iz kanf00zed. Shorten - where is my Swatty Shotty? Taras - I've been stealing your fuel with a special tank mahd.
