Tried the search function but didn't find an answer.. My forester won't go into program mode for me to set new key fob. I've tried multiple times, disconnected the battery for a few minutes- no joy. I don't want to wear out the ignition so asking help here. the car does have a remote starter but I don't have the remote for that, could this be the problem? any ideas before going to a dealer? thx!
