I am a few days late, but better late then never. I am going to miss that STI, lots of great memories hanging out with you. Try not to exert too much negitive energy, everything will work itself out.

Nothing yet this morning. Edina Police Dept. said they'll notify me if they run into anything... or any Police Dept. that is. They also ask that I contact them if I run into my car also.

    So far... nothing :(

A local guy (from MNsportcompacts) who owned a Civic had his car stolen a few weeks back and was just informed from the cops that it was found in Las Vegas, Nevada. (!?!?!) It was completely raped and stripped; it looked like junk.

If this is what happened to Vic's STi, insurance will total the STi and pay up.

    Update:

Had a talk with my Insurance company this afternoon. They are cashing my car out since it's been close to a month and no news or trace of my car. They'll pay off my car and what's left will be given to me to start off with another car. I feel they gave me a fair deal and reasonable.

Thanks for all your help guys... Even though, I'm subieless... I'm still a Subie fan and will always be until then... rally on.

Time to go car shopping... :(

its good to hear that you got a decent deal from the insurance company. hopefully you can find new joy in another subie (perhaps an LGT? as noted in other thread). it would be nice to find out what really happened to the car.

So what's the next car you're gonna purchase, Vic? Just remember, you got a family. A Forester XTi doesn't sound so bad. ;)

Trust me, there're non-XT Foresters in just about every block around the cities. :p At least the XTi is a formidable sleeper most theives/ricers don't know about.
