    i RESPECT your opinion.

but I'm putz, not dingis. I don't mean to talk bad about area tuners, as a matter of fact Ive had only good experiances with tuners the likes of LSE, DB, and RS Motors, granted I only took my nissan to DB.

I for one would like to here the dirt in pm form if need be, I would like to know what to expect when some one recomends a tuner.

In my life time I have learned to tell the difference between some one who is buthurt and over reacting or some one with a legitamate beef.

please don't call me or the people who are trying to help me "retarded"

unfortunatly we don't have that excuse. we may be merely Stoopid.

Tuning is just like any other business. If a customer doesn't like the way they were treated, they should let it be known. Now, if the company steps up and either sets things straight or takes care of said customer...then that should also be noted.

There will always be good and bad experience, even at the best of businesses! As a consumer, Putz should get all the info that he can before making a decision.

Oh, and so you'd rather have tuning shops go out of business due to a decrease in demand? Just a thought...there could be a reason "trash talking" is occurring. I haven't dealt with any of these shops, so I can't say whether any of this is true or not.

As for your retard comment, even if we all are "retarded"...then these shops better learn how to deal with retarded people because we are their main demographic. If they can't make us "retards" happy, then they better learn.

I think I would like to talk to jordan and see if he uses romraider and see what kind of experiances he has had with subies.

I left a message, just waiting to hear back.

if it were me i would do what i can to go to rs. they have the most experience out of all the mn shops with subies. db isent that bad. the only bad stuff i have seen is that he doesn't know how to use any electronic boost controllers but im sure if you told him in advance he could look into it. shane is smart when it comes to making power and im sure he would do a vary good job when he has the info he needs. map is new, a mainly dsm shop. im sure he could get you up and running and you would have a big power number because there dyno reads crazy high.

you should be good to go ware ever you go but rs would be who i would tell you to stick with because when the gremlins start coming out( like they always do) they will know what it takes to get your car ware it should be or point you in the right direction ware the other shops are not as subaru based and as knowledgeable .

We retards are the future, please us and you will be rewared with monies dumping out of our retarded fists.

Well now, all silliness aside, some tuning shops speacialise in certain types of performance cars, RS Motors is primo for subaru tuning. others do not specialize in our "pull its self apart" motors, they are bound to run into trouble. Give them an evo and you'd be so happy.

So..... now that we are done with tuner bashing,

    is nuke a good tuner?

I'll vouch for Nuked Performance, I use his services quite often. He is geniune about what he does and is eagar to help others. I can tell you what he lacks in experience he makes up by researching the challenge and will find the answer. So how does first place at a Corvette autocross in Windom, MN sound to you.

    just a reply

This is after letting you work on your own car in our parking lot, diagnosing the car for the multiple problems it had, let you park your car here overnite for absolutely FREE of CHARGE.
Getting the car on the dyno next day when you're not on the schedule anymore, since you brought the car to tune the day before that was missing clamps, backward maf pipe, missing PCV, misrouted hoses etc.
I got the car on the dyno and did what I can for the time I had before the next appointment. The car acted like it had low compression on one cylinder I told of the you guys to have that checked and we'll re tune the car.
I'm sorry if you call that bad customer service. But tell the whole story next time you try and bash the shop that helped you first.

Putz if you need a tune that bad let me know. We'll work something out so you don't have to find an alternative. I'm ten minutes from the shop and can always come back if needed.

I got no issue with you guys at RS... I just gotta get this thing tuned and I missed my apointment by over 3 hours, so I understand.

I just don't know how I'm going to get the car to you, and get it tuned when a baby could grace me anytime.

    Wow..I can't believe I just heard you say this.:emo:

And this is after all the help we gave you...free of charge? Even let you borrow our own personal tools? Remember your car came in for a tune and ended up having a lot of issues, do you remember your stuck calipers? I offered to fix all your issues and advised you on whats needed to be done.

Do you still need me to get into more details? I'm sure we don't have to come to that point but if it does...a lot of people on here will scorn you:cool:cause the truth will be told and it will hurt.

Putz...sorry I couldn't get your car tuned, but with my schedule I couldn't hold off and wait for you. I even offered to keep your car here overnight so I can tune it during the weekday but cause of your work schedule this could not be done.

And if you still can't get your car tuned by this weekend, give me a call. There's always something that we can figure out to get your car tuned...lmk.

    General statement

    Let's stop this right now.

Please don't bash our preferred vendors/partners in the industry. Personally I've never had any work done by RS, but I've always heard excellent feedback and even been told numerous times that RS employees have gone above and beyond to help people. If you have issues with a vendor please make sure all information is accurate before you publically post on here AND you have already attempted to resolve the issues with the company via PM or in-person.

    Thank you

RS Motor drove to st. cloud to fix my injectors..... These guys have bent over backwards for me. and I apprciate how they stand behind their work.

I will wait, for them to tune my car.

(if it were a different time, and if I weren't married, and if Lee was single.... Ohhhhhh)
