sway...er.. antiroll bars, endlinks, and rear bar mounts.

CAI = Injen cold air intake. PM Bullwinkle for a tune after the up pipe install.

    TUNETUNETUNETUNE!!!

Get a tune, do it now or stop driving the car.

Tune it. Get someone to reflash it with an OTS at the least. Do something, but that CAI is certainly not the best for your car.

You are fortunate in that the 02 ECU's are more forgiving, but that will only go so far.

    Tune it.

    ...seriously, tune it.

I'm not trying to scare you, but Injen intakes have been known to play Mary Poppins with ECU's. If you're going to run it, you'll definitely need a custom tune. Also, if you're looking into the "stage2" tunes, bear in mind that you'll want the catted uppipe out of your car ASAP. The upgraded "stageX" flashes can burn out your cat faster. Once there's so much damage, the cat lets go and takes a trip through your turbo's rabbit hole. It's not a pretty sight.

You should be. 02 WRX's have been known to make people blackout.

In all seriousness though, just take it easy on the thing until you get it sorted out. You're not going to blow anything up right away, but if you push these sorts of things off or beat the car while it's running like this, you can cause serious problems.

lol, you guys frightened the poor guy. As long as you're nice on the car until it's tuned, you'll be fine.

And yeah, the injen intakes are about the worst of the bunch, so I'd recommend taking that off. A catless UP is also highly recommended.

Also, if you're going to get a custom tune, I would almost certainly recommend a GMBCS as well. This'll allow you to run much more boost in the midrange (the stock solenoid tops out at ~15-16 PSI). More midrange boost = more torque = more fun.

Wow, talk about massive amounts of bad info. Fail all the way around.

I have NEVER seen that with a injen cai. Of all the cars I have tuned (my own included), the injen gave me the best fuel trims (relative to the stock box). Don't worry, your car will be fine with those mods. People tend to forget the for the first 2 years that the wrx was state side, everyone drove them with cai's and mbc's.

What you are running will be fine. Is it the best way of running, no, but it will still be fine.

The information for the Injen I had seen was on an 05 and later, I didn't realize that the 02 would play that nice with it.

Same goes with the stage2 adds more fuel. It really gets leaner with a tune because stock, the bugeyes are running 10:1 or richer.

Right. Made some adjustments. I thought it richened the system a little more and saturated the cats, not the other way around. EGT temps will still increase though, no?

Yes, but this is often part of the actual tuning process. Tricking the MAF to to adjust AFRs from stock is simply not a good idea. Sure, it can be tuned for, but it's simply not a smart modification unless you can custom tune the car yourself and keep an eye on it (make sure AFR's dont drift with learning, etc).

However, you're right (and as I said above); the OP's car isn't just going to blow up. He'll be fine driving lightly until he gets tuned.

+1 on swaybars and endlinks ftw (huge handling difference). Strut tower bars (ebay jdm sti "pinks") are cheap and make a little difference too.

Seriously.....largest handling difference you can make short of some really good tires/wheels (read: $$$$).
