I had one of those "well this just happened" moments, and ended up with a BRZ last week. 2013 BRZ Limited, DGM, 6 Speed Manual. I ended up trading in my 05 STi on this. Last picture is from a trip last weekend, 35.3mpg driving 72.
Just got tint today, wheels to be ordered, then suspension, JPM Coachworks interior bits, and then we shall see what happens from there. Going to be a fun summer car, as well as would like to do a STX prep and go to some larger Auto-X events.
Not to take away from the car...but how many garage spots do you have there?? That's one sexy 2Dr. that you have there!

Nice choice! You are going to love the way that car handles, even in stock form on the crap tires it does well. Once you get some proper tires and suspension on it, you will be in heaven!
Well, if you wanted to get into auto x more competitively, you certainly bough the right car. The twins are kicking ass in STX, and their a riot to drive in that trim. Toyobaru found out about autox and built a car for it
You mean the Prius Tires? I have 245 BFG Rivals in the garage already, I ordered some 17x9 wheels today. Sadly, my 17x9 RPF1 are 5x114 I have always been competitive in Auto-X, have not made it to an event in Minneapolis. I have a pretty good collection of trophies from Proving Grounds Also never had something that was worth taking to large venue events. My 05 had 100k on it. Was my third STi, also had 4 WRXs previous to the STis.
Rota Titans, never would have though about Rotas. But, with their price drop for 2014, couldn't pass up the deal I got.
Wasn't trying to say that you personally are not competitive...but the "twins" are shaping up to be the class choice for STX at nats. You planning on hitting up some of the big national events? I've always wanted to check them out, the timing is just always bad for me.
Aren't you concerned about rolling mass with the Rotas? Do you have enough power to get them moving? I kid. These things were designed for big tires. It will look good with the 17X9 and 245s.
Lolz. These are suppose to be 17.8lbs, so in the scheme of things they are reasonable compared to some of the "real wheels" at 20+lbs.
how do you like it compare to the hatch? I'm debating if i want to trade in the hatch for brz/frs since I have a winter car already if needed.

Completely different cars, I feel like a giant in the brz. If you don't like small spaces not for you. The hatch was 4 cars ago lol. Yes, less HP than a WRX or STi. Handling is amazing, power is actually a bit more impressive then I would have imagined. MPG is awesome. I am averaging 30+
I got another one of those...... I kinda just have to buy this moments this weekend. I scored a deal on some 04 STi BBS from a friend. Of course, I had to get rid of the Fuzion HRI that came on them for something much cooler that I had left over from my STi.
I only had one mounted, I knew the strut clearance was going to be really close on these, so wanted to test fit before I had them mounted.
Well.. been a week of brown box fever! This week my Rota Titans, RCE t2, extended studs, new magnets for autox, and grimspeed strut bar and hood struts showed up.
Strut bar is a nice addition. I also like the whiteline rear bushings I did on mine. Both made large differances.
Got the strut bar for $30 from a friend, supposedly they help tame the rear end down... who knows lol.
Mehhh I wouldn't say that. It does help with initial corner entry is what I noticed most that and quick left right changes of direction when you have a lot of weight on the front tires
Last weekend was a pretty long weekend. Got my suspension in, then went to Cars and Coffee, ProKarts, and BIR for Ultimate Road Race Competition.
Welcome BRZ brother. Looks sick. Sometimes wish mine was black...been to BIR with it once....that was sick.
