my car's an L so i have no power door locks or windows, all that's power in my car is the mirrors. weight savings ftw :biggrin: and chux you know that zip ties are man's best friend :biggrin: , they were there to hold the hose away from the fan, i have to shorten the hose a bit today to fix that problem. and once i get everything buttoned up and the ap installed and running good i will be coming down to firestone again
more pics! i got all of the rear wiring done and the interior put in minus the seats(those go in after i eat:biggrin: ) so now i just need to wire up the lights up front, bleed the brakes and tend to a couple small things. but i should be driving it tomm :biggrin:
my Fuel Pump controller is in the front passenger footwell. I just have to finish porting my heads then swap stuff over and put things together. Waiting for flywheel.....then tranny swap.. oh man..... LOTS of progress thus far there!!!

unfortunately the six disc changer doesn't work radio works though. so i haven't decided if i will get another unit or just but another car kit and run my sirius in there. :biggrin: barring any major problems i will be driving it later today :biggrin:
yeah the dash and door panels changed in 98 so until i find some that will work i had to mash these in a little bit. oh well i'll live :biggrin: and thanks guys:biggrin:
well it's done!! i took it out for a drive and it runs pretty good except for i am getting misfires, mostly when cruising at a steady speed the car stutters a bit, if you give it some gas it smooths out and it pulls fine under boost without any hesitation. i am getting a cel for cylinder 1,2,4 misfires. any ideas let me know, i have to look at it again tomm.
I've been getting them for 4 years. In fact, the same three went off on me a few days ago at t3h Mix's house. I think that mnstylinwrx said that he found the problem in the exhaust ports? Some burnage I believe. Haven't been able to figure it out and either have any subaru techs that have looked at it for me. Glad to see you knocked out your swap so quick! Looks good. thanks, i'm going to throw the plugs back in that were in the car when i got it and try that, i know that the gaps on the new ones i put in were a bit larger than they were supposed to be so i will try that. and i might be interested in the six disc, not sure yet. i will have some pics of the whole car up later today:biggrin:
alright drove the car 100 miles today, other than the rather annoying random misfires, it drives good and everything works. now i just need to fix the misfires and it will be great. here are some pics
right now it's kinda between low boost and high boost on my old setup. i'm happy considering that everything works in my car now:biggrin: i just need to get a little bit of a tune to make everything a little better
