you'd think i would have knowing how much of a photog I am but when you're busting your ass, and covered in paint particulate you tend to forget some details lol

Would you mind sharing with me more details regarding your ebrake, I am trying to get one for my setup. thnx I can't wait to see it again in person!
it's made by compbrake - came from driftworks in the uk. it goes inline with your rear caliper lines. pretty basic. I'll have it mounted and plumbed this weekend
This one carl? http://www.compbrake.co.uk/TECHNICAL-V-HANDBRAKE.HTM Looks nice, built in bias valve is a big plus, keep the clutter of controls down. Looks like the pricing is pretty reasonable, how was it after shipping and currency conversion?
that one but without the bias valve (that is an option that I forgot to get lol). it was like $150 shipped from england
Carl it was a pleasure! Im glad you like what we got done tonight. One more appointment next month and all the vinyl work will be done It will really look sharp! It was nice seeing your car at this stage from just a few weeks ago before the cage. Cant wait to see the finished product. Keep it up.. Dave
open light is the only class that allows a holder of a novice rally america license to compete in an awd car without a waiver.
i love the flocked dash. i want to do that to my street cars. i assume you made sure the floor sheeting is sealed up good and tight?
i think open light is going to be an awesome class. i like that it pretty much takes HP out of the equation, there is only so much power you can reliably squeeze out of a NA motor.
not 100% sure yet. ideally one out of a 2.5i i did it the passenger side cf didn't lay so well. there was that one big wrinkle that wouldn't flatten out and there's a large airpocket next to it. I poked some holes and backfilled the air hole with adhesive but I still think I'll get a lot of cracking on that side - something to redo when I have time. (first time working with cf so there was bound to be mistakes)
Carl this is a sweet project! I am curious as to what will come next. Also as to the motor (I am unfamiliar with the class regulations) does it need to remain stock or can you modify it? If so what are your planned motor mods?
Sending the cams to Delta is cheap and a nice way to open those things up a little bit. Something to keep in mind.
No point in a 2.5i motor, what with the AVCS or whatever it is. Higher compression pistons and 91/93 octane would be nice, though.
Matt Monson was making almost 170 whp on a SOHC 2.5L with cams, an intake, EL headers, and mild p0rting on his 2000 RS. So yes, there is a point to a few simple mods if the SOHC 2.5 isn't too new. Factory that motor put down about 95 whp. They didn't put AVCS on until recently.
that's the thing andrew and i are are talking specifically about 06/07 2.5i motors as that makes for the simplest wiring
