That looks so much better than the MT pictures... Almost good enough for me to want one. I want to see what the STI looks like. I am thinking this will be a much better platform for the WRC cars.
The 08 WRX in that pic is a Cherry Hill, NJ car therefore probably a subaru corporate mule or test car. The MY07's dropped in early october so it would seem a little fast to start selling the 08s before the summer is even ehre. but of course that never stopped mitsu, who sells new MY's like 1.5 years in advance.... (08 lancer already out)
Yea I've seen a few of the new lancers in duluth, finally mitsubishi made a tolerable front end again. I really don't like the rice tails subaru is putting in their cars now. Guess some sprayable tint would help.
Ya i like the front and err thing but i dont know about 4 doors. I prefer 2 but sorry to say kinda looks like a sports focus from the back. but over all for the look its alright i think
ive always thought hatches looked badass...its just hard for me to accept that Subaru is now making them. Just wait till people start buying them and after a simple drop, wheels, and a few cosmetic changes (taillights, chrome on the hatch) it will look good. Doesn't anyone else like the look of a MazdaSpeed3? Plus some of the photoshops of the sedan that ive seen on nasioc are promising!
i agree, the new car these days are fugly ass hell. i dont dig the 08 WRX either. i hope the 4 door wont look that bad.... only if there's a coupe. sigh...................... i love coupe's
front is way better than in the motor trend shots. the new grille is 1000X better then the motor trend one. i think the scoop sits allittle too far forward. kinda like the mustang scoop. the rear end is ok but there is too much bling the altezza lights gotta go, and that shiny piece inbetween them has to be blacked out / color matched.

Not that the market on Sti and Evo's is huge but Mitsubishi will walk away with it in a couple of years, unless the new Sti is way different than the WRX its my last.:eek4:
yes i understand that...but you have to be crazy to think the new evo is better looking, the wrx is at least less offensive to the eyes.
evo x is WAY WAY better looking than the 08 wrx(both hatch and sedan). i just hope subaru pulls their head out of their arse with the STi

I dunno..... what makes it ugly? The few things I don't like much are...... grille, lower side corners of the rear taillights, extra rear passenger window, & framed windows. BUT I do like the SHAPE of the grille more than the 06-07
well at least they are giving the STI the fender flares...hate to say it but the Evo X looks better...glad i got my '02
so what's ugly about it? I like how it looks more mainstream. bugeye.....Porsche? I love my GC8 teardrop....there's something new...I'll stick to bugeye/GC8... falcon eyes.....ewww grille!!!! I like my bugeye/teardrop/GC8 Corola eyes....f-n ugly.....I like my falcon eyes... ^^^^ lolz
