I pulled codes from Autozone and found all 4 cylinders are misfiring. Car feels very sluggish with a lopey idle. I tried replacing spark plug wires, but it did not help. It is a 97 outback legacy w/ 2.5 motor. Can anyone please help me? I have been reading for hours and it looks like it could be anything from the intake gasket to the headgasket. Thank you very much for the help

Was any work done to the car prior to the issues?

Not that I am aware of, however I purchased the car with this problem thinking it was an easy fix. :(

Maybe a coilpack or your spark plugs. Try the easiest things first and work from there.

Fuel trim could have alot to do with it, but it should have set a system too lean/rich code by now. I know sometimes that takes quite a bit of time, but it should have set within 3 drive cycles.
