Which coil packs have you tried? Isnt this a JDM motor swap?

first one i tried was a brand new 1994 legacy coil pack. the legacy and the jdm coil pack looks the same and have same wires and plugs. The rest i got from upull, from a legacy and impreza both OBd1 . yes this is a jdm motor

I'm assuming you followed the instructions from here:

    http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1192028

    ??

If you followed those instructions, and have a good 12v reading, then either the ground or signal wire is failing. If you have cleaned each coil from rust/corrosion (in the spot where you put the ring terminal for the ground), then you are left with either a poor signal wire or bad coil. I would recommend the following:

    1) look over your wiring from the merge at the ignitor. If those wires are well soldered (if not soldered, I would redo them and solder), then you can eliminate that part of the equation, then I would move to the coil pack itself. Did you solder onto the pins inside the coil? Use a spade terminal? Or did you have the coils OEM plug that you used? If you didn't have the OEM plug for the coils and tried soldering onto the pins, I would assume the wiring is touching inside that particular coil. If you HAVE the OEM plug, then I would assume you have a bad coil. You should have no problem tracking down a set of 02+ WRX/STi coils for under $100. I would use those vs. something that is already 15+ years old (from what I understood, you used older Leggy coils...I may have misread).

I just did this conversion last week, with nothing but amazing results. I'd be happy to further help you if you haven't resolved this over the next week (I will be in Vegas from tonight to next Monday)...If you need further help, PM me.

Did you plug the ecu in?

    J/k

If you're not getting injector pulse then you're cam sensor/crank sensor and ecu has a communication break somewhere.
Double check your grounds, sensor grounds on the engine attached to the intake manifold usually.

    Power

Have you verified if you're getting power to the ecu? Power to one of the wires on each injector? One wire is on at ignition the other one gets pulse from ecu via cam signal.
Is this a married harness instead of complete harness swap?
    Was the timing belt replaced?

i found out why i was not getting spark. All because of 4 wires, they were in the wrong spot. anyways here is a link showing my engine running.

Who did the wires? I hope you got some refund for the headache. What wires were they for? Might as well finish this thread with "the fix" so it can become useful to others.
