Problem Description: I discovered a couple of nights ago that my tail lights were not working. I checked the bulbs and they appear to be fine. I checked the switch by putting the parking brake on with the car running. When I turn the switch to the parking light position I have no lights, tails and front markers are not working. Even with the headlights on all four corners are dark. The headlights work normally and so do all four blinkers/hazards. I checked the all of the fuses with a tester (lower left under dash and the main relay box under the hood) and all are good.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I should check next? Is there an area where a wire might come loose or a rodent could chew through that would cause all four lights to stop working at the same time? I live in out in the sticks and I have had problems with rodents (mice and chipmunks) trying to make a nest under my intake manifold.
Recent Modifications/Maintenance: front brake pads and rotors, oil change(today)

First off, +1 on the post layout. I know exactly what and where to start troubleshooting.

I would start by using a volt meter and see if you have power at the parking light fuse. Make sure have voltage there first. If you have power there then you work your way out to the next item. If you don't have power at the fuse, then work your way back towards the battery.
