While I was driving on the highway my timing belt disfunctioned on me. What I thought was the problem, I fixed and adjusted the timing belt but now my car won't start. I cannot figure out what the problem is.

If anyone willing to give me a free hand and come out to take a look at it & HELP ME FIX IT :)) , You'll be rewarded a nice package...Please email me at this address for details [email protected].

Can we get some more details on what happened while you were driving and what exactly you did to adjust the timing belt?

did you re-align all of the cam gears and align the belt with those?

If your timing belt broke while you were driving, you are probably screwed. Sorry to be a downer, but with an interference motor, valves/pistons will occupy the same space if the belt brakes.

It's removing the engine, heads, and replacing the bent/broken valves.

    Not cheap!

Probably pistons as those are what bent the valves.

    Basically a complete rebuild.

You could always go the EJ257 route, but I doubt you'll need a block. Won't know until you pull the engine apart though.
