Whats up guys i drive a 2002 bugeye wagon and am trying to choose what oil to run in my car. I have tried a few different types like castrol synthetic and also penzoil synthetic. The castol worked well and my car seems to eat the penzoil synthetic. What is everyone else running and what oil should i stay away from? Right now the car has roughly 84000.

Not to start a war among oils, but why is Mobil 1 so bad?

It's tends to get thinner at operating temp. I use Amsoil and love it.

I've been running it for the last few years, all year long, with no issues. Even use it on my FZ-6.

I'm changing over to T6 from Mobil 1. How many miles should I run before changing again to help flush out the rest of the Mobil?

It should be fine. They are both 5w oils. Just change your oil at 3000 miles and it should be pretty clear of M1 at that point. At operating temp, it'll just mix with the other oil. Next oil fill up there might be trace, but it shouldn't matter if the bulk of the oil is the same. Just proceed with your oil changes as normal
