I was backed into a couple of days ago and just got done talking with the other persons insurance. Now the damage isn't really that bad, my front bumper is scraped a bit and the black plastic unpainted portion of the bumper cover is broken. The other guys insurance is simply going to cut me a check for an estimate I had done.

Now I can either bring it to a reputable shop and get the damage fixed by professionals. Or I can try to find a new bumper cover on my own and get it painted by someone and try to do things on the cheap. So that brings me to my question.

Does anyone know somebody with an 07 Satin White Pearl bumper cover or know where I can get my hands on one, and for how much. Also does anyone know someone they trust with paint matching and making it look good?

I'd have a pro do it... but if you know a pro at a shop that'll write you a nice FAT estimate (you can use any shop you want regardless of what the ins. company suggests) you'll *may* be able to make a little scratch of the deal. Not that I know this... a bird told me.

alot of the cost to have a shop do it is going to be the labor of uninstalling and reinstalling the bumper. so you could just go to the dealership and pick a new one up and then ask a shop to paint it for you, you might save a few bills

I might just leave it and buy some mods. It's honestly not that bad.....ugh I hate decisions like this.

I say you get a bumper cover on your own, find a place to paint it, and install it yourself. You'll likelby save hundreds by removing the old one and installing the new one yourself. Its not that hard really, just a bunch of clips and a couple bolts.

^What I did! Lol. If it doesn't really bother you and doesn't affect the cars handling/performance, leave it and buy mods.;)

Also, my car has rear end damage in this pic. Looks good to me.
