Just got SPT springs installed on my AGX's about a month ago. I love the drop and daily driven handling but I still got a lot of body roll during cornoring. My AGX's are set to level 2 stiffness all around. Maybe will change the fronts to Level 3. What are my choices on increasing handling and decrease body roll? Keep my SPT and get Sways or get stiffer springs/Coilovers? Car is 95% daily driven. No tracks. What I got as handling so far: -SPT springs with KYB AGX -Front/rear Strut bars -H brace chassic bar
Stiffen up your shocks and get some aftermarket anti-sway bars. I'm not sure what else is readily available, but I know MAP has some nice Cobb packages on their website. Otherwise, check out the SPT bars since you already have their springs.
Yup. Buying stiffer springs just to eliminate body roll will leave you less then happy while driving down MN streets. A set of sways will up your effective spring rate far beyond what a spring will and you won't sacrifice ride quality doing it.
Agreed, sways and endlinks are the ticket. Shop around for the best package price. If you're getting a large RSB (rear sway bar), say 25.4 (1") then get upgraded mounts with it. Just my 02 cents. If you're doing it in stages go for the endlinks 1st, not the other way around. Otherwise you can run into trouble running stock endlinks and beefy sway bars. SNAP!! If you want a big improvement you'll actually feel, but cannot afford everything? then go with all four endlinks and RSB or at least rear endlinks and RSB. 3rd tip. Please get a good brand. Everyone has their favorite, but stick with Perrin, Hotchkis, Whiteline, Cobb, etc...Do NOT buy knock-off parts from ebay. Also, if you get a large RSB might want to make sure it's adjustable. Otherwise you're stuck with what you get (Stiffness). Most are 2 or 3-way adjustable.
