You just need to have your wastegate duty cycle stuff retuned. See if you can get DB to do it for free. Are you using an AccessPort or OpenECU?

Sound's like WallOfTv's needs to retune your clutch life scaler.

Or...you need to buy a new clutch. How many miles do you have on it?

yes but you dont have to pay insurance, wages, overhead... people stop biching about prices when you go to a big business to get it done.. they have costs to cover... some do rip off more then others, but all the backyard mechanics who do it half price, what warranty do you offer, what customer service do you offer if issues arise, what happens if a car falls on you whilst working on it, do you have enough insurance covering you and also the customer for having to now pay for a rental car while you are in hospital for 3 weeks ;)

anyways... yes Fuji could have done it cheaper.... so could quite a few guys on here... are you getting ripped off?? thats is all in your wallet and timeframe!!!

Yes a clutch on an '06' is out....I got 38K for miles....I bought it with 4,500 and the guy who I bought it from never owned a manual and neither have I....I have to admit I have definitely made some mistakes and smoked the clutch a few times...Ahhh Well ya live and ya learn....Ya I figured theres dudes on here that could do it for cheaper...To bad I dont know any of ya...I'll have to get out to some of your firestone meets or your duluth runs...I know I am paying for convenience right now...Brooklyn Park Subaru has always taken care of me though......

If I remember right, it was about $700 in labor when I had my 02' clutch done at Archer Racing in Duluth.

Got the whole thing done, including upgraded parts (exedy stage 1, streetlite flywheel) for less than the stealership had quoted.

As a bonus, one of the tech's there offered a lot of good advice as to what mods are worth doing, etc.

Off topic, but +1 for Archer Racing. I took my s4 there once and they were all really cool. They knew there stuff too. Plus having over a dozen modded vipers parked all over was sweet.

$1300 sounds about right for a dealership. Like Nathan said, plenty of people can do it cheaper.....but what warranty does it have? Throw me $50 buck s and the clutch and I will put it in for ya, will it make out of my driveway? I hope so because thats when my warranty ends ;)

One of the kids I sold a 07WRX to burnt out the clutch in it with 3,400 miles....then wondered why we wouldn't cover it after the mechanics looked at the axle play and shaft play and condition of the tires.

hey no worries. I always do follow-ups for the guys. If anything, if I installed wrong or anything, I'd redo again if it's the case. But like said, parts are parts and labor is labor.
But it's good that it's only Clutch "creep." lolz
