    Hi All,
I'm trying to figure out which NPS I need for my 4eat to 6MT swap (ECU swapped as well).
My 6mt is currently installed so not easy for me to bench test this.

Is the switch mechanically activated when the transmission is in neutral?

Neutral position for a 4EAT and Neutral Gate for a 6 speed are not quite the same thing.

    I got this resolved.

    For future reference:
    - On the 6MT trans, the NPS switch is mechanically activated (pushed) when in gear and deactivated (released) when in neutral.
    - MY06 FXT Manual ECUs logic need to see high resistance (open circuit) when in Gear and low resistance (closed circuit) when in Neutral.

Since I swapped in a 04STI 6MT, I was able to use an 08+ 6MT NPS sensor, it plugs right in to the existing NPS harness and matched the logic of the 06 FXT MT ECU.
