I feel like there was a "Lifestyle/stanced" thread...but it turned into like 7 seperate ones. Which lead to the annoyed becoming annoyed.

Personally, I don't think there should be a hardline rule on what mods are allowed or disallowed. And if people, including myself, wish to express our opinion of stupid modifications, then by all means, go for it. We just aren't going to lend legitimacy to stance crap by giving it its own forum. You can post up all you want about stancing your car out, but this being a forum of open opinion, don't be surprised if you are shunned and ostracized for doing idiot **** to your car.

 

Nobody respects you, Trent. And we aren't going to give you a special hug-box to play in where you feel safe making an ass of yourself. Like I said before, you can continue getting ass-patting from MNSubiez if you want a sanitized web experience.

I am guessing that, in addition to your idiot boyfriend's bad taste in modifications, you also share his martyr complex, as well as level of self entitlement. I will ignore for a second, the fact that you ARE Trent pretending to be your girlfriend, and explain to you the difference between having an opinion and throwing a tantrum when others don't ass-pat you for said opinion. Because one of those things is part of our healthy and well oiled MNSubaru community, and the other is just sniveling children demanding respect where none is earned.

You blathered on about a dumb idea...sorry, forgot again, TRENT blathered on about a dumb idea to make an Impreza RWD. Dozens of members gave him their opinion on the idea. That opinion was, generally, negative. Trent, of course, continued pressing the idea further and the community as a whole returned back with equal but opposite levels of rejection. Trent then started getting butthurt, and threw a little tantrum because he still hasn't figured out that not everyone gets a trophy. We gave him a ban and sent him on his way. The original ban was supposed to be temporary, as a way of hopefully teaching him that throwing childish tantrums and demanding respect with whining is not how we do things here. But then it was brought to one of the moderators attention that he was over on MNSubiez HugBox for Wayward Retards spouting off about how he was just expressing his opinion and got banned. Ignoring the fact that he was banned for his tantrum, not for his stupid ideas.
When we were made aware of this lack of self-awareness, we knew that he wasn't going to get it, and was going to continue being a self-entitled sack of ****, so we made it a permaban. Then he took some pics off his girlfriend's facebook, signed up for a new account, and is pretending to be a girl on the internet so that he can continue to pretend that his ban was about opinions and not about his sniveling tantrum festival.

Also, repeatedly telling you that stance is stupid isn't a tantrum, it's my opinion on the matter. Telling you to 'show some respect' would be more in tune with your typical response.

Even though it has failed in the past, you can feel free to start a thread full of stance crap. I can't say it'll be an ass-patting hug-box. But you're more than welcome. Just don't shed a bunch of tears when it turns out poorly.

 

This thread has completely derailed and is only going to get worse.
