Thank you for your time. I have not done any extensive research but just looking for some help on some reccomendations to get me started off on the right path. Here is the information. I am doing this off the top of my head so...

    2003 Wrx - Daily Driven
    Tanabe GF210
    Dead Tokico Blue HP's

    The rims i got are ADR Model Flite 5 - 18x7.5 42 Offset - with 235/40/18
I placed the rims next to my ride to check height and fitment and does not look good.
My first initial reaction since i am on a budget is to get myself back to stock and i think that will work but i am looking for mild performance and i do like the look of my car lowered. I am willing to roll my fenders a bit but would like to skip that if at all possible. What do you guys and gals reccomend for suspension set ups that wont cost me an arm and a leg with mild performance in mind? My initial set up is getting KYB GR2's mated with Stock shocks, basically stock. I have also been looking at the SPT Springs but i think they offer too low of a drop. I have yet to find a sping that offers a mild drop. I would love to get a full coilover setup but with my budget its kind of out of the question.

Also...i have been looking on nasioc and looking at the Hella Flush Threads...some of there setups have got me drooling. Any one with experience or information to maybe explore this area and offer reccomendations for some crazy combonations to get that Hella Flush Look? Thanks again for your time.

I have epic springs on my 04wrx with 18x8+45 with a 225/40/18 and I have plenty of room. If you are looking to go stock springs for a while let me know, I have my stock springs still and if you need em you can have em :) check out my review in the general section... It has pics of the drop and if your wondering what it looks like with the 18" wheels check out my fs thread.. Will give you an idea of the look.

Awsome...i might have to take you on that offer...please dont flame me but is there a difference btwn the 03 and 04 stock springs? Any modifications needed? If there is not i would love to take them off your hands asap as my new kicks are just sitting in the garage begging to be put on. I would like to check the fitment with stock specs first which will buy me time to research more. I will grab you a case of beer or something in return. Thanks!

here ya go.. i just found this.

    Springs
Springs for 02-03 Impreza RS or WRX will fit.

Springs designed for 04+ Impreza will fit on your 02-03 Impreza struts or 02-03 aftermarket struts, but you must use 04+ rear strut top mounts and the Scooby921 strut spacer. Details on why the spacer is needed available here:
    http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=563382

    Scooby921 Strut Spacer available here:
    http://turninconcepts10.chainreactio...5e77d30c577da7

Aftermarket springs designed for Impreza STi will be too stiff for stock struts. OEM STi springs work well though.

You can use 04+ springs with 04-07 RS, WRX and 04 STi struts. You must then use 04+ style rear top mounts.

I wish I was home, I am currently waiting to replace my stock suspension to one with Tokico D specs and swift springs on my 02 WRX. I would have sold you the stockers for cheap but I won't be home for around 2 more months. :( I hit the same speedbump as you seem to be, the decision between changing the tophats or just buying different springs was a tough choice, I ended up going the easier route with picking up swift springs instead. Let me know if you can wait 2 months, we could even partner up on the swap. I'll be using the First Gear Garage to do the work. Maybe you could help me with my swap, and in turn I could help you with yours?

I have swifts on my 06 Wrx and kybs. Stiffer than stock but an overall comprable ride and subtle drop of 1inch in front and .8 in back. I also used saggy butt spacers to even the wheel gap a bit. I have 18x7.5 rims and 52 Offset. (limix linea rSK Be5's in 6 month old Hancock v12 evo tires) no rubbing- since u asked about the swifts

Thanks everyone for the help. I really appreciate it. I have decided to go with stock springs with the KYB's for now to give me a better judgement of which springs i will get. looks like Swift will be my number one choice.

Freeze2104, i am located in blaine but always roaming around in the cities. I will pm you later as i would love to take your stockers off your hands. Thanks!

tjkolb, I dont think i can wait but i would be definitly up to meet you and give you my advice and reccomendations and also show you my set up (if its completed) to help you get your best fitment. Just pm me when your in town and i can definitly help you out the best i can and roll out for a drive sometime.

well when the time comes closer, I'll be posting up a time and date that I'll be at the garage, everyone is more then welcome to attend and when the job is complete I planned to buy a round or two for those that stop by and help. :) Sounds good for a cruise though!

I'd be interested in taking you up on that ride - interested to see how the swifts react to various levels of strut dampening.
    Cruise it up!
