Oppps, I wrote that!!! We always forget to log each other out, lol. The good thing is that with all the he posts in my name, it makes me seem like I really know what I am talking about!:eek3:
You have some clean and serious RST. It would be really nice to see it next time I'm heading towards MAM.
If you don't mind me asking, what is the best way to do a nice GC swap to a JDM EJ20 setup like that? Is there a good place to get the parts and harness's etc? Can someone with enough time, skill and a decent set of tools do it on their own? The biggest thing I would worry about is the know-how to get the swap done, do guides exist or is it a much better idea to have it done at a shop that specializes in subaru swaps? I'm the DIY type, and most of the fun would be in doing the project myself.
It IS something you can do by yourself if you have enough tools and alot of time to futz around with it. If this is your daily driver and you are thinking you can do it over a weekend, you'll run into trouble.
Very very nice cars. jealousy is I. I would be very lucky to find a women who wants a motor swap....................................
Those cars are ridiculously nice! All of my friends agree as well! Does anyone know if there is literature available on these kind of swaps? I'd love to take a GC swap on in the future.
Wait a second...did I see the RSTi at MAM last year? I talked to you for a bit about the swap...well, if it's the car it was your husband that was there.
Love the cars... especially the rsti! Am I mistaken or has that rsti been featured in modified mag? If not, one that looked identical was haha
the red one was the one that was featured, looks amazing. The wagon is sweet as hell too, haha but you posers live in Iowa, get off this site and get back to the DM thread on Nasioc
