I got a new tune and the car is running better than ever. I had a few nagging issues that were driving me and my tuner, and probably the forum, crazy. Data Log Lab dyno software puts me at about 300 whp and 300 torque.

    1) Charcoal solenoid was not working - fixed.
    2) Purge valve was broken - fixed by Ray's automotive. +1 for those two for finding the problem.
    3) Safe Injection module, the failsafe that cuts the boost solenoid in case of injection failure, was interfering with the boost curve. Whenever injection first starts, boost would drop by a couple PSI then start building again. After a few months of trying to tune around it and lots of frustration, I had a eureka moment. The delay on the Safe Injection was set to zero and was sending a false alarm to the BCS, so I set to about .3 seconds. Problem solved.

So I've got Launch control set at 5k rpm and 3 mph or less. How does my 2.0WRX clutch and tranny feel about LC? Will I just burn through my clutch faster or am I in for more trouble?

Are you heading to DB? I'd be interested in what your reading there would be compared to the software. Yeah, I know it can be fairly accurate.. more curiosity.

    What mods other then Alky?

The 04/05's are a little better, but not all that much. If you want a better tranny get an STI 6 spd or PPG's.

    Video!

Sorry to say but with LC I think your tranny will tap out very soon. It probably wont go quietly though. 6spd swaps are going for around 5k or so depending on year/mileage ect... theres alot more to it than just the tranny. you need an shorter (automatic/6spd) driveshaft and the matching R180 rear end. Also the axles might be different so you may need hubs/brakes/wheels/ect...

07 STi tranny's pretty much sway right into the 06+ WRX's, just need the drive shaft, shifter linkage and a DCCD controller
