I'm new here too, got my 2000 Outback a few months ago. This is the first car I have owned that I will be doing my own maintenance on and so far it has gone well.

oh yea i got good and bad news today...my car thats for sale got a huge white scratch well it was parked by my work..no clue who did it...good news, morries called they have a blue wrx with 71,000 for 14,990..going to check it out sunday..yes i said sunday im special lol..

Hey all. 1st post. I drive a SRR 04 wrx wagon. Glad to be here.

I need to get a MNsubaru sticker!

 

I hate stickers on vehicles... I just think they look tacky! BUT to each his own! Windows they look ok SOMETIMES; depends on the size!

 

The MNSubaru stickers are pretty small and tasteful. Talk to WRX1 or bikerboy. Not sure if anyone else has them. Welcome...

Hey, my name's Ben, I'm from the Mankato area. I'm 17 and recently purchased a 2005 WRX repairable for $4500. Pain in the ass, but after about 2 months, it's nearing completion. I'll hopefully be taking it in for paint in a week or so.

I don't know how many of you post on MN Sport Compacts, but I go by Audious on there, too. I'm also Chris' brother on there (RX7oneluv).

Hope to see you guys when I get my WRX done.

Came over from the NASIOC forum on the recomendation from an Australian salesman at the Subie Dealership in Duluth.

I'm not in MN but am close enough as far as I'm concerned considering the closest major city in WI is Madison.

I just started a turbo project on my 98 OBS so any advice or inexpensive parts you can offer are appreciated.

Maybe when I'm done I'll be able to make it to a meet or two.

Otherwise, I'm the one in Superior driving the black OBS with massive hail damage.

New to the site

Hey my name is Trent and im pretty new to the whole car scene... well, at least mod-wise. im turning 19 soon and live in the plymouth area, work in buffalo. anyways im just hoping to maybe learn some things, get some ideas, and maybe meet some new people....cause i really have no life. I drive a 2003 WRX Wagon. So im a newbie to both the site and car modification. Sorry for the long introduction.

yeah unfortunatly i work only part time for $9 an hour and have to pay off the WRX which is like $345 for payments, $250 for insurance and probably over $200 for gas every month. if anyone has any kind of creative/cheap ideas if i ever come across the topic, im more than happy to hear them. i have very little spending money. im getting exhaust tomorrow afternoon though for my first real addition, other than mesh grilles that i put on.

 

Any plans for college? That will definately help you out in the long run with your finances!

 

eh i went and dropped out and now i have no idea of what i wanna do. i dont even really have any interests. and im not even good at working on cars so mechanic wouldnt be a real choice.

And i have a question. ive been looking through these forums and have seen things about firestone fridays or whatever. What exactly is it?
