Hey everyone. Been on here a while just never had a Subaru before. Met a girl tonight and last week at Old Chicago in Minnetonka. She drives a '02-'03 WRX with Black STi Fog light covers and i think she said her BF is on here with a RS with a STI swap. I've known Shane (Shane86) and Eli (Shibbs) for awhile also. ^^^ Hi. It was nice to see you again. I'm glad we were representing the Subarus tonight! The BF can chime in if he wants..I don't know his setup. It's faster than mine, and that's all I could really tell ya! I'll probably see you next week. You (and the others) should stay for karoake sometime.

Hello everyone. I just got my first Subaru about a week ago ('95 Legacy wagon, oh yeah!). It sure does beat the MPG of my Jeep though. Does anyone know of any good websites that have mods or accessories for this year? I've had very little luck searching so far. Thanks.

Just thought I'd say hi. I put a deposit down on this thing the other day That would be a 2005 Legacy GT wagon un-limited (needed no sunroof to fit a helmet) 5mt. I don't pick it up until Dec 21 (its in Salt lake City) and then i'm going to trip around the west coast for a few weeks before it gets back here. Currently, I'm in a Hertz Supercar. I generally specialize in alphabet roads, a certain ofiice park, and embarrassing myself in auto-x. I hope to add embarrassing myself in track days shortly.
Congrats. If I had it to do all over again, I'd have a Legacy Wagon. Probably a 2000, in white, but still, love the Legacy wagons.
I don't know that I've officially introduced myself. I'm Bruce, I live in Shakopee and work in St. Paul. Here's my present Subaru. It was a very slightly used '07 Forester XT Sports with 8100 miles on it. I picked it up down near Atlanta in October. It saw its first snow yesterday. I traded in a plain old '07 standard X on this: I had to run her through Deal's Gap on the way home from Atlanta. My wife and I take the bikes down there at least once a season. It's one of our favorite places to ride. A previous Subaru, '05 Legacy GT wagon: My wife's daily driver, an '07 Mini Cooper S: My wife's previous summer ride, '02 Z28 convertible w/6spd, sold last spring: And last, a little toy I picked up last spring. This '06 MX-5 Miata stays inside all winter: Yeah, we're into the toys. The kids are going to have to pay for their own college. LOL I'll post up some pics of the 2-wheeled fleet one day.
Hi Y'all! New 08 WRX owner! Good Morning everyone. I'm Ali from Brooklyn Park; the proud owner of a brand spankin' new Pearl White 2008 WRX 5 door; not quite broken in yet (565 miles). Pretty stock except for the sports grille and the direction rear view mirror. I upgraded to the WRX from a 03 Mazda Protege 5. Speaking of loving toys, I used to own a '87 Porche 911 and a Porche 944, my husbands summer driver is a 2006 Corvette, winter driver is a 08 Subaru Legacy and we have 3 motorcycles ('99 Yahmaha R1, '03 Ducati 998 & a '06 BMW K 1200 R Sport.) Anyway, I hope to learn more about my car through you guys and maybe hook up for a ride one of these days. Viva la Snow! Caio! -Ali
Tonight may be your night if the snow keeps falling like it's supposed to. I'm sure there may be parking lot mayhem going on.
I'm such a noobsauce; :wiggle: I'm not even sure how to whip shi**ies in an AWD! FWD, hells yeah, but I'm new*new*new to awd! Plus, is it ok to do that even though she's not broken in yet?
Keep the revs under control and it should be fine I'd think. Oh and if the stockers are re92s, sliding will be a cinch. Getting to the parking lot will be the hard part. /Seriously, get those POS off of them if thats whats there
RE92s are just fine for winter driving. They are far better than my tires and I drive all winter on them.
welcome you will enjoy mnsubaru! I love this place and i don't even have a subi yet!!! great guys! and great fun!
