welcome! where are you from? mn isn't that flat - you just have to either go north or south from the cities lol
From Massachusetts. I play paintball in pennsylvania regularly, snowboard and hike in new hampshire, and snowboard in utah and colorado. It's flat. Very good for flying model airplanes, though, so i can't complain too much. I'm out here for some machining training - there isn't much mfg. back home, and even fewer good programs for it. Then i'm going to try to go to school for aeronautical or mechanical engineering. Unfortunately, that career will probably take me even further from the snow and hills. :-/
Hello community, I am proud to say, I've just recently purchased an 05 STi, does that mean I'm in the club . I hope to learn a lot and also have fun reading around this forum. See ya around.

Hello. My name is Howie. I very recently purchased an '06 WRX and wanted to check out the site. I am a TC resident and manage an auto frame, body, and suspension shop. My WRX was purchased as a project. I hope to begin working on it in the next few weeks. Again, hello to mnsubaru members.
Hi, I just recently joined but my husband has been a member for about 2 years. We used to have a 2004 WRB Wrx but sold when we had my little baby girl. Hopefully I'll have another one soon. I thought I should join since I work at Morrie's Brooklyn Park Subaru in Sales so I just wanted to say hi to everyone.

Hi, New to the forum and new to subarus. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a boost controler and cai?
Hey, My name is Chase. I attended the 2008 Ice Race with Carl this past weekend. Will post up pics and video soon! Was a blast!
new to the forum had my wrex for 7 months now and i loves it. just lookin for people to cruise with and meet up with sometimes and just chill! let me know whats going on people!
Welcome man. In the summer we all meet up at firestone down on uni ave. In the winter some people show up, but not as many. Just look in the events section to see what's going on.
Just moved back to the cities from southern California. Hoping to chill with the community and have some good times, but my god is it cold tonight.
New. Looking for some AWD action. I've been on here for about 2 weeks. I'm trying to get out of the honda scene. I'm still looking to buy a subaru, but my wife wants her 2008 Audi A4 first. So we'll see what happens. I've been on other sites such as MNSportCompacts. I know a few guys on here.. FujiK, mengocharged, seen Carl on here also (I'm 94Sohc on MNSC). Hope to know all of you guys.
The best thing I ever did was sell my civic si and buy a wrx. I can actually drive places and not wonder if my car will still be there when I come back. I'd say sell that thing asap.
Do you remember Eric Edwardson...we called him Ed Electric ? I'm pretty sure we've met before at a party
Hi! Im new here. I have owned about 20 Subarus so far and im only 21 so needless to say I like the product. First off, my main toy. 1993 Subaru Impreza L EJ207 built shortblock, bored 50 over, with USDM WRX heads. VF22 Turbocharger, port and polished Vishnu underdrive pulley, Short ram intake, CBM FMIC kit, CBM turbo back exhaust, Meth injection, cobb accessport with PDX base map (needs to be tuned bad), Nitrous intercooler spray, 840cc injectors, walbro fuel pump. Version 7 sti struts with megan springs, 2006 WRX front brakes, 2002 WRX rear brakes (till I get my 2pot adapters), BBS RK wheels, Cwest side skirts, rear skirts, STI aluminum hood, RA roof vent, sti grill, headlights and corners. STI taillights. This year I have bought a Version 6 front bumper, type RA front lip, and a carbon fiber front splitter to clean up the front end a bit. I have removed the rear sti wing and in its place will be a Mines GD replica spoiler (the lip one). As well the rear bumper is going to be re-done and the center exhaust will be no more. The roof scoop is now cut off as well but im leaving the RA hatch. Should be a much cleaner look this year. The wheels are also for sale as im buying a set of flat black rota SDX’s with the red stripe. Engine wise this year, I have picked up an STI 6spd to replace my WRX 5spd, Stage 3 clutch, light weight flywheel as well as a 2004 STI crate engine (0kms) that will be getting forged pistons and rods as well as titanium valve springs, retainers and supertech valves. May later in the season I will purchase a GT30R/35R turbo kit, time will tell. The entire car has been stripped down and everything was replaced with 2002 WRX components Second is my daily driver 1998 Subaru Impreza L Green STI Version 6 front bumper STI Type-RA lip STI Version 6 Rear bumper STI version 6 rear spats STI version 6 side skirts STI version 6 front grill Sti version 4 rear spoiler STI version 7 struts coil over sleaves (yuck) STI version 8 Muffler 2008 WRX shift knob/boot 2002 WRX leather interior 1993 Legacy SS Turbo 5spoke wheels (being refinished in bronze with a polished lip) STI tail lights STI cornerlights STI fog light covers I'll grab some pix of this guy later I also have a 1993 Legacy SS Turbo that im building as a drift car. Not to much work has been done to this yet except for the cage, gutted, sound proofing stripped and I have the RWD center diff installed in on the tranny (tranny isn’t back in the car yet though
Nice to see you're not 'all show, no go!" Powerful and beautiful...what a concept! Welcome, and I'm excited to see your cars sometime at Firestone. So, do you do your custom work? Or do you have a good body guy/mechanic?
cool nice looking impreza L!! i also cant wait to see it at firestone this year. And welcome to everyone new! great place to be.
i was just wonderin if anyone lives anywhere near me that would wanna maybe give me a hand droppin in some prodrive springs on my car sometime here in february?!?! beer will be provided
my father is actually my body man on the orange one, im no good with fiberglass. I have done everything mechanical on every car ive ever owned though. I like to go fast, the old guy likes to make it look good haha. The orange one hit a 12.42@ 112mph in the 1/4 last year but i really want a 10.99 with the gt35r set up if i go that far. i actually live in Toronto, Ontario, and i have NO IDEA what firestone is, but maybe an event I should make it down for? When is it? My gf and her brother both have WRX's so maybe we'll put together a cruise and come down?
Firestone is just a place to meet at, usually on weekends for chat and giggles. Don't think you should drive that far for a 2-3 hour meet. Nice car though.
