Lol, she came in for rear brake pads cause they looked a tad low and her rear pass. rotor is all grooved up, but one the way home she ate through the inner front pass. pad and started grinding away (somehow the wear indicator tab had broken off - so no warning squeal), so she probably turned around and came back for the fronts. Oh - and thanks for helping her out right over there at Morrie's. We both really appreciate that!
Yeah unfortunately I was only planning on getting rear pads and rotors. But after I got home I noticed that the problem was significantly worse in the front. There was severe grinding in the front passager side, probably could hear me from a mile away. So I had to come in again. I can't get enough of Morrie's Subaru. Actually starting this weekend I'll be working near you guys off of Hopkins Cross Road just a little north of 394. So that's pretty cool.

I ended up back here following a link for Forrester XT that is for sale but I couldnt see the posting so I re-joined. My current subies are: 1997 Legacy GT 2000 RSTi 2001 v4 GF wagon 2006 Baja Turbo
New to the forum, but wanted to drop by and say "hi". I am the owner of an 04' aspen white sti. Mostly stock, but hoping be stage II by fall.
^^^Welcome! I see you are in Blaine(me too) I know I have exchanged waves with a white 04-05 in the past...maybe you?
pcwerk is in the house! thought I would introduce meself and bump up my post count to see classifieds one day (really bad idea for those selling, but I digress). i've been on for way more than a month but I have little time for bs. if my post count is waay low, you may not see me again (of course, unless I have a question ;-) That said, my wife has a 96 Outback that we got taken on about a year ago and i struggle to keep it going. My fault for not looking it over better (hey, it was winter and i wanted to get out of the cold!). It cranks and runs and all but has numerous oil leaks and a horrible "grinding" sound coming from engine that I didn't hear when test driving ;-( I also think the clutch is getting ready to go. On the bright side, the body isn't too bad and it sure gets us through the snow. I finally found a decent wrench here in Rochester but the trouble is getting the funds gathered to take care of it all (oh, it also desperately needs the timing belt replaced). anyway, a shout out to Bigshot Bob who got me on this site ;-) peace, pc
Wuddup peeps. I been browsing here every now and then. Have a 02 bugeye for 6 months now. I don’t know too much about performance/cars, but could at least maintain my car and I guess everyone starts from some point. I’m hoping to learn more about how to drive my car to the peak and even get into auto-crossing. We’ll see as time goes.
Welcome to MNSubaru! You shouldn't have much trouble finding fellow autocross enthusiasts here. Head down to Firestone tonight if you want to see some subarus and meet some new peeps. >>http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...1d3df006&msa=0
New guy here Hey eveyone! I am a subaru tech at a local dealership. I have been working on them for 12 years. Hello! So, I technically don't own a Subie, but Roon does, and well, I am the pants of the relationship, so basically I get it [the car] whenever I want. I'm Roon's girlfriend, Julie. I have always been interested in Subarus, and have driven a couple at the dealers. I've checked into getting a Legacy for myself, or maybe a WRX. It's not in the cards for me right now to get one, but they are definitely some of the highest on my list! Right now I drive an 08 tC, and it's a good daily driver, as I drive from Little Canada to New Hope for work. As for work, I'm a veterinary technician. I'm a pretty open book, and I'm sure Roon is going to be psyched that I'm on here. Surprise! See ya 'round the boards and on the roads!
