Not really, I went and looked at it when they were closed. Looked to be a good deal. Hope you like it!
I love it. Its been a lot of fun already. It hasn't had the timing belt service done yet but I negotiated it into the deal. I am going to Luther Bloomington tomorrow to get the work done. I traded this in to get it: While I liked my truck a lot, I have found that the WRX is superior in a lot of ways.
Newbie from Rochester, MN Just moved to Rochester from Chicago and bought my first Subie at the same time. I've had it now for 10 weeks and I love everything about it. I'm hooked! ~BlackXT09
Legacy GT in South Minneapolis Hey everyone! I'd love to get down on any meets you guys do in the Twin Cities or just make some friends with Subarus. Right now my car is Stage 2 with a bunch of other little mods. Get at me if you wanna chill
hi there everyone, I live in Maple Grove, but currently i am in Fargo for college, I dont own a subaru quite yet, but am looking really hard to find one
I think I saw a posting of yours on craigslist...:hsugh: http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/cto/1342752852.html ^^^Is that you?^^^ Well... an intro of myself. Currently Daily Driving a 4th gen Maxima 5 speed with basic bolt on's and flash. Hopefully you guys haven't noticed it but yes, it is that loud ass black maxima with big ol Megan Exhaust (Stock exhaust rusted, Don't want to spend money to fix the exhaust flange on the mid-pipe). Weekend Warrior: 91 Celica All Trac! Pretty much *MINT* compared to other All trac's around here. :yumyum: I've been looking at picking up a Subaru for a long while now. I've been patient and looking for the right price. I was very tempted to pick up a Black Coupe Impreza 2.5 RS from a fellow member here when I first joined however he was firm on his price and I wasn't going to exceed my winter beater budget I had set. Now that the car market is down even more, the prices have seemed to drop quite a bit and I'm glad I've been patient on my search. Now looking to pick up the larger Legacy version since I often have alot of people in my car.
welcome! I just moved up to the twin cities from Chicago this past october. What part of Chicago are you from? I lived in Bucktown. About Western and Milwaukee.
Newbie VW kid from Brainerd Hey! Just thought I'd drop in, even though I don't have a Subie . Not really a VW guy in particular, but I'm into all kinds of unique, tasteful cars. I'm almost 16 (Yes, flame suit is on ) and I'm just about to pick up a 91 Jetta GLi that a fellow eurowerks member offered to me for free.. Otherwise, who knows, I might've otherwise picked this little guy up (and I really want to, but living on a lakehome has its downs in terms of space for cars ): http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/cto/1349363677.html Anyways, I'm just a non-ricer teenage car guy looking to meet some cool car guys and learn a bit more about subies ... And wow that last line sounded like it's straight out of an online dating profile. Haha oh well.
Hey there! I'm new as of today. I LOVE my subaru and wanted to join because my husband has met a lot of cool people on here and I hope to do the same! I drive a 04 WRX....wagon! Oh yeah! Lovin' my 'grocery getter'....let's just say those frozen items have no chance of thawing when they're on the way home in the subaru since I'm lovin' the turbo a bit too much  Anyway, I'm in Apple Valley and also looking for any other ladies who are interested in Subarus and maybe not as knowledgeable as the guys on here Later! Tonie
Welcome, Tonie! Who's your hubbie? Ylime, AnnieM, and Aegis are the only active female users that I know of. Maybe you can start a trend.
Welcome! And there are a few other women on MnSubaru besides those already mentioned, but I will let them chime in for themselves. I don't know if there is a social group for the female members, but there is one for wagons, the Wagon Mafia. Again, welcome!
Shhhh....Sheen, the games we play AT THE RALLY STAY AT THE RALLY!!!! BTW- Thanks....I've never dominated a Asian guy like that before...it was fun!:laugh: And yes, welcome noobs!!
dude I need to meet and talk.. this is what I am thinking of building once I finish my schooling at Dunwoody for welding and fabrication... Where do you work?? did you build that tubing bender?? if not do you have plans for one??
Thankfully, he seems not to have been corrupted by the textmessagization of the English language. Welcome aboard, NoScoobyYet.
Haha, I had a period of textspeak about a year or so ago, but then I realized it just looked and sounded dumb. But thanks guys! And while the limited space at my parents house says no to two cars, I'd like to get a GC-series subaru for my second car. And possibly with a turbo to make things interesting :naughty:
Not so new but new to mnsubaru. Got my subi'04 WRX last year and i LOVES it! My boyfriend jonny8852 has '02 rally blue WRX. Excited to meet and/or make friends with other subaru owners... See you members around. Don't forget to wave~Hi~
Welcome! My parents have a lake house west of Baxter in Pillager. Honk if you see a red hawkeye. I'll probably look at you strangely, but it will click in my head eventually . Welcome to you as well! The meets we have are a great way to get to know others hooked on the Subaru. You can find info here: Lake Calhoun - http://mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24969 Firestone on Uni - http://mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7485

While we're on the topic of old GM cars, I thought I would introduce myself. I just joined the forum about a week ago. I'm good friends with forum member jamusix, and he's always encouraged me to join the forum. We've played in a bunch of bands together. I'm in the market for a car to replace my 1989 Cadillac Coupe Deville, and I'm thinking about some sort of Subaru wagon. I need something that can haul an upright bass. I've been looking at a lot of early 2000's Legacy wagons, but my attention has recently been grabbed by the pre-2002 Outback Sport. I'm pretty sure the Outback Sports are big enough to fit the bass into them. I'll need to check it out before buying one. I'm looking for something that is a bit sportier than your standard Legacy wagon, but I can't afford a WRX sport wagon, as much as I would love one. I've recently become a full time student again and I'm also planning a wedding, so I can't really swing something more than about $6500. The Caddy is on it's way out, so I'm probably going to need something before winter. Here, for your viewing please, is the Caddy in it's former glory, when I purchased it back in 2004, at which point it had 35,000 miles on it. It now has 120,000 miles and needs more work than it's worth to me (radiator, HVAC, timing belt, suspension, new vinyl topper, and for some reason the revs stay up high enough to where I don't need my foot on the gas on the highway when the cruise control is off). It's been a great car, but it's time to put this one out to pasture and find myself a Subie!
Welcome to the forum Bakken! To Chris: Holy hell those pictures are big. To everyone else: He's a good guy. Don't judge him by his non-Subaru-owner-ness.
Well I became a member of the Subaru family sooner than I thought I would. I previously had a black gti (I posted a picture a few pages back) but I just picked this up last Thursday. 2006 CGM, here's a quick picture I snapped on the way to Cars and Cafe.
Hi, I'm Jonathan. Just purchased a new 2010 STi from Heuberger Subaru in Colorado Springs. Made the 900+ mile trip home to Plymouth, MN just a few days ago. Nice to be home and to find such a welcoming crew of Subaru owners here in MN. Taking it to Ron at R & G in Detroit Lakes on Friday before going to visit my family in Bemidji this weekend--just to get her checked over. I actually posted some pictures of her on a website I've developed to keep as a sort of owner's journal: http://www.2010sti.com Still under construction. Too many projects on my plate! So, yeah. That's me.
Oooh Johnathan---she's gorgeous! (I just assume all cars are female ) P.S. The website is sweet---you've got some fantastic photos!
