I must say you do have a sweet ride !
Hi Y'all! I'm Jacob and I live in Minneapolis. I've heard about the site from a few different people and decided I should make an account. I figure it will be entertaining to see what everyone is doing with their Subaru's. I'm also looking to watch for some beginner autocross events and Subaru meetups. Here are some pics of my old Impreza that I sold a while back, and my WRX that I've owned for about a year .
First road trip in the Subaru... Loveland Pass, CO
Yes the car is floating
Nice pics. Welcome to another great looking WRB WRX! Since you're looking for a meet-up, check out the LaXCruise - it's a great way to meet new folks. From the cities to LaCrosse Wisconsin, and it's this upcoming weekend.
Come out and cruise/camp with us!
I was shocked that I got to reply with this before you did.
I know, redundancy is key!!
Hello all! Jim here. I'm new to the group. Just across the border in Wisconsin. Not driving anything fast or new. Just totalled my VW just over a month and picked up a 2003 Forester. Looking to lift it, add bigger tires and a ton of other cool stuff for some light offroad fun but also still use as my daily driver. Until then I'm completely stock. Heard about LAX from a friend so I thought I would join. Looking forward to this weekend.
Welcome Jim! Hope that you enjoy your first cruise with us!
Welcome! Might I suggest changing your username to beardtastic?
I just might. I do the handlebar stache once in a while but the beard is always there. Thanks for the welcome!
Welcome! Lifted Foresters are great. Actually, any lifted Subie is great. This is my 2nd cruise, so technically I might still have newbie status as well.
Thanks for the welcome! Although I might be a little out of place in this group being I have a stock Forester X, not even an XT, hoping everyone will welcome me. Watching the video from last year it looks like there's all nice, newer or modded Subarus. I'll get there but it'll take some time and I'm sure a lot of questions will be asked for advice.
Everybody has to start somewhere. I drive an automatic transmission, non turbo grocery getter, and I feel out of place sometimes too. I think alot people assume that this forum is strictly WRX/STI oriented. I know I initially did, but it's actually been a very welcoming group of extremely knowledgeable Subaru enthusiasts.
Turbo shmurbo. All are welcome!
Worry not. Not all of us are driving rust free, immaculate machines.
Hey everybody! New to MNSubaru, but not new to Subarus. And maybe not entirely new to this either, have actually already met a few of you at the Tuesday night meets with @GrumbleRumble. He tells me I need to make it out for the LaXCruise this year too.
Anyway, have a picture of a Subaru - with a bonus: 2 more Subarus!
About damn time, haha
Welcome and you should! Only two days away!
Most of the long term members don't even have Subarus anymore. I don't and I'm not even that long term yet.
Thinking I'll head down there. Question: Do other members bring doggos down? / Are they allowed to join? I think mine would like the car ride, camping and socializing, but don't want him to be the only derpy dog there.
Yes! Dogs are very welcome! My coworker is coming and bringing his. There are usually 2-5 dogs present at the cruise. Just need to be leashed at the park and campgrounds.
Lmk if you're coming for sure and I'll add you to the list!
Heading over to that thread now.
Longtime Subaru owner of over 18 years and 2 Subarus. Wasn't aware of this forum until just recently....
Welcome!! What/who finally tipped you off?
Needing another car, so doing lots of googling and MNSubaru was showing up quite a bit. Figured it was time to join!
Just joined a few days ago through a recommendation by my coworkers who are also Subaru owners! Just bought my first Subaru 2017 WRB WRX Premium back in April. Loving the car so far and have a few minor mods.
Hi there, new guy checking in, new to the subaru side of things, I look forward to going to some of these event and sponging up all the knowledge I can on these cars so I do my own build. Until then, I'll be creepin around the rest of the site seeing what I can find.
What are you driving?
15 Sti, got it about a month ago.
And you're in Crystal? I've probably seen you driving around. I live over by Target. Welcome aboard!
