Ironically some crazy tooth fairy had left a black NF sticker inside my Red Prius....I'm considering sticking it on the driver rear bumper. What do y'all think?

Looks like my issue is crappy motor mounts

 

? Causing the issue with coolant tank?

 

That's my guess. If the motor rocks back enough the hose will be pushed against the intercooler pipe and eventually snap the nipple off the coolant reservoir. If the metal one isn't working either I would drill/tap the plastic one for an angled (metal) fitting. Should give you enough clearance. You could even do a 90 degree fitting and point it forward so the hose doesn't hit the piping at all.

 

The metal one is making the intercooler pipe its bitch .....

 

That sucks man. Is there any way to rotate it? I would think there is something that you can do... since a few people have a similar FMIC setup.

 

I talked to Nuke yesterday, he thinks i may have the earlier 06 that came with the soft mounts with the jelly inside I'm probably going to get the GROUP N motor mounts and tranny mount.

The plastic, liquid filled ones are round. The regular ones have a chunk of rubber sandwiched between two metal plates.

This here is the speeding bullet on a run with a bad launch but better shifts at 9000rpms.
