    Get your short shift of. Anyone who has the bushings and this shifter will tell you it is a great setup. I run these on my car and I am very happy with the difference it made. As well the ability to adjust the height and throw of your shift lever is very nice. This lever has the ability to be shorter in throw and height then the kartboy shifter.

    Here's my $.02...I just got the Clutchmasters FX400 6 puck from NF for my STI and have run it for about 300 miles. I like it thus far...very light feeling pressure plate and good engagement. There is a bit of chatter, but it is much less noticeable with a more throttle input when letting the clutch out. The engagement is somewhat "on-off" but its definitely manageable. And it's been holding Stage 2 +E85 power just fine.

    Have you tried engaging it with minimal throttle? I found that to have the least chatter on my puck clutches. Bring the rev's just barely above idle (<1,000rpm's) and let it engage quick. A lot easier to stall it if you're not careful, but I had the best luck eliminating chatter that way (and it's better for the life of the clutch than high rev's).

    Clutchmasters has great puck kits imho. Wish I would have gotten one over my exedy. They are way lighter and easier to drive I think. Kind of hard when you first get it since its so different from other puck style clutches, but once you get used to it its awesome.

    Yea I've tried little to no throttle and it seems like it really depends...smoothness is a balancing act between throttle input and smooth clutch release. I'll try the minimal throttle and quick release. I'm normally very light with the throttle when releasing the clutch to preserve clutch life, so I'm not revving the piss out of it (keeping it around 2k rpm's or so). Like Tash said, just takes some getting used to (esp after driving my buttery soft 2.5i clutch for a couple months straight). The chatter isn't bad at all though and doesn't bother me. The gf has definitely had some good laughs throughout this learning process :uhhuh:

    Price for AEM wideband/boost failsafe gauge?
    Also, how do you normally wire the failsafe functionality? Add a relay to cut power to the EBCS?
