There is a park and ride off of rice and b that is ten seconds from the highway if we want a location for a secondary meet spot. I support that idea as it is three minutes from my apartment.
Well, they suggested near 36 and 35e, that's pretty much a perfect spot for that. The fact that it's super close is a bonus, lol.
I really don't want to have two meeting spots, it just makes it that much earlier to get up... more of a PITA to keep everyone together... Although Rice and B is a hellofalot closer to me. Lets stick with Menards. Leave @ 7am - Plan on stopping @ Holiday

I would suggest taking cedar to 42 for those coming from north metro looking to fill up on E85. There is a Kwik Trip on the north side of 42 about a half mile off cedar: http://goo.gl/maps/Wyudr
We'll be heading down 35E to 52 because it's quite a bit quicker. If you were coming in from the west, then that station would be a good option.

I figured we'll stop every 10 minutes. Combine that with driving 10 MPH under the speed limit in the left lane the whole way there... we'll be there around 10am.
We can always use more volunteers. It's probably go a very good thing that I'm not leading the group cause you'd have too much time setting up your cars and even a quick nap to slow down your heart rate.

If its above freezing ill be wearing the ZII's, would likely just destroy a set of all seasons unless the temps really drop. I think most people would be surprised at the grip of most modern high performance summer tires in the cold and wet.
I ran my shaved Toyo RA1's last Sunday, and a friend ran his ZII while we were playing cat and mouse. Unless we have ice I won't worry about it. Just don't drive over your head.
Yea, I ran my federals (summers) last fall at the last track event when it was dry in the mid 40's...guess I'll do the same this time!

I'm taking my civic unless I can ride with someone there and get a ride back to Menard's sometime on the way back.
I probably won't meet up at Menards as it is a bit out of the way, but I may catch you guys on the way down. Are you taking 694 to 35E to 52?
It looks like that is the way that google maps/navigation will take us. Depending on the weather my car may be full with tires and tools. If not you are welcome to tag along.
