Cheap, intimate and italian you say? Obvious. http://www.thelittleoven.com/ Best Steak House isn't bad if you just need a god damn steak, right now. I wouldn't call it good steak, necessarily, but it sure ain't bad: http://www.arisbeststeakhouse.com

Why hasnt anyone mentioned Famous Daves yet? Yea they might be a little over his price but for meats they are pretty good. Or if you want to venture up to the north metro you could try dixie blues in Blaine or Q Fanatic in Champlin is a good bbq place. You could do the tried and true Buffalo Wild Wings cant really go wrong with them. Carols in Blaine is a awesome place to eat also, a little bit pricey but everything is made from scratch so its worth it.
I don't think anything is really over my price. Unless you count straight up caviar for dinner. I still can't believe I paid $45 to reserve a decent table at Benihanas though.
I'm confused. Is money no object to you or is it? You say nothing is really over your price range but you also say you don't want to spend a arm and a leg. If money is truly no object to you then fallow the general rule that the more expensive the better. Not always the case but it tends to fallow that pattern.
I could have sworn I said it in the OP, but Benihanas is realistically The most I'd spend on a dinner.
If Benihanas is your budget range then the restaurants we listed would be in your price range. Just do yourself a favor and look at the menu online. Will save yourself from sticker shock on menu items.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but the Bachelor Farmer is pretty good! Unique menu and atmosphere, but expensive. Something to look into at least.
That "more expensive is more betterer" thing is not always (arguably not often) the case btw. Depends on what it is you want. Some places phone in the food but give you exemplary service in exchange for $80/plate and three boihole bucks, others give you obscenely good food for < $5 while openly berating you for not knowing what you wanted before you approached the counter (looking at you, Skyway Wok).
The Good Day Cafe off 100 and 394 has good food at a reasonable price. I usually go there for breakfast though. Mmmmm steak and eggs.
I sent to a Texas road house in Texas. There was no dancing. I also went to a Texas road house in Kuwait. There was also no dancing.
Try something different, this place is delicious but not very fancy. http://chimborazorestaurant.com/
