Tonight is 7pm vs Dallas. They had a pretty good game on Sat night, hopefully they can hold it together and give them a run for their money. Russ
yeah, its good we finally got Roli a win. i dont know how dallas has been doing but i hope we can hold our own against them.
WOW that was an intense game! we got a 2 game win streak going, and are only 5pts out of a playoff spot. we could turn this thing around!
Yep, that was a huge win for them. That will really help out the confidence. They got lucky, Gabby took a real dumb tripping penalty in the last 4 min that could have really turned the game around. Now they have a home and home vs Colorado coming up. Congrats goes out to the MN guys that made the us team (Parrish, Blake, Leopold) and to Rolston, looks like the us should have a fairly good team for the olympics. Russ

Well, they have another tough game tonight (and tomorrow) against colorado. It will be a good game to see the wild really step up and start winning some games. A BIG congrats goes out to Filip Kuba, Gabby, and Koivu for also making their olympic teams. It will be kinda cool to watch some of the local guys playing against each other. Russ

Well, they got screwed with the puck that went uder the side of the net. There was a couple of things wrong with that goal, but nobody asked the questions before the next face off. Atleast they had alot of chances and skated hard. Maybe they can pull it together tonight. Russ
Yeah, they were saying that apparently the booth was reviewing it but didn't let the officials know, so they started play. And then it's too late. Oh well. Did you notice that it seemed like Boogard was getting knocked all over the place last night? I saw him get taken out at least 4 times. strange.... But then it also seemed like alot of players were loosing edges pretty easily.

That's why I've got Fernandez on my fantasy team You can't really blame Roloson though. He's been playing really good (he's like 4th in the NHL for save %). I think he's just getting unlucky in the games he get's to play. I'm pretty sure the situation was reversed last season, Roli was rocking and Manny was good, but not nearly as hot.
yeah, but last night in the game when the other team scored their 4th goal i watched the replay and there was a guy in front of Roloson and he got the puck and shot it and scored and as soon as the puck went into the net Roloson basicly watched the puck go in the goal. thats why i dont like Roloson he is way to slow. Fernandez is way faster at stopping the puck and moving around
from what i heard about htursdays game is that one of the goals should not have counted. somehow they lifted teh net, supposedly very visible on the replay. anyway we won on friday (i missed this too!) but atleast we arent losing all of our games.
Yep, they got 2 huge wins for them. this has been a good road trip so far, if they can pull off a win tonight they will have a sweep on this road trip. They picked up some very needed points also. Russ

Yep, starting Sat, they play every other day till the end of the month. I may have some extra tickets avail if someone is interested. i would probly let the set go for $100 with the parking pass (sec 111 row 7 seat 9&10). Actually, the wild played very good, but Gabby missed a open net, and the goal that went in off of Manny's back was just a fluke goal. Russ
saw the first 2 periods. there were alot of penalties! i cant believe wanvig (or was it wallz) got a faking penalty when that guy x-checked him twice.
Alright time to bump up the official wild hockey thread. Thare are a few others but I'll start using this one unless we need to start a new one for this season. I'm not one of them fancy season ticket holders but have managed to get ten games worth of tickets. To anyone with season tickets please keep me in mind if you can't make it to a game I am pretty much always able to go and would be glad to buy em. And most importantly lets go WILD:jumpy:

We talked about it, but never made it out. On a side note, our parking pass has been taken care of for this coming season, so after the schedule comes out this week, if anyone is interested in picking up any games, let me know. We are section 112, row 11, seats 5&6 and the parking pass is for the ryan lot (right off of shepard by the lower science museum entrance). Russ
Regular season home opener is two months from today, it's my second favotrite non-playoff game of the year
It'll be interesting seeing what style they will play this year under the new leadership. Looking forward to seeing marty havlat in a wild sweater.
