Price is a little absurd (in my opinion) but damn this thing is glorious (for what it is...).

 

Honestly would have better luck on C&B or something, could probably get the asking price there. Looks clean from the photos. Love that green too.

 

Almost seems reasonable to me based on used car prices and the amount of maintenance this car has allegedly had performed, but a clutch at this mileage is suspect to me. I could do without the Mazama (WTF?) tires though. And why has this car had 4 different homes in 43k miles? Four owners or one that has moved three times? Biggest downside is the inevitable head gasket replacement that is looming in the future.

The "custom heart taillights" has me intrigued.

 

You get something like that on your car and I believe that makes it a certified "panty dropper". That or "locally hated".

Kid's not old enough to sell the car himself? So probably been abused aplenty. 260k miles with a new turbo, but also a spare engine that allegedly has 100k on it. For what? Maybe just leave it in the trunk like a spare tire? Haha. Some of the cheapest parts possible thrown into the "build" . The one decent pic of the outside (not the front or rear) hides the rust very well. And is there really a speaker brand called Rockville...? I hope he means Rockford.

 

He really took that "golden hour" lighting tip to heart that he learned about in photography class at community college.

 

When I looked the first time I saw the pics first, then read the ad. I noticed the GS up pipe in the box and thought "oh, cool" but didn't see it mentioned in the text. When I read "Invidia up pipe" my brain just pictured a downpipe because that's what brand mine is, and I thought it was weird that you would include the downpipe with the turbo. Haha. Makes more sense that it's an up pipe instead, but funny that he got the brand wrong.

That's like when people spell sh!t wrong even though the word they're trying to spell is right in front of them on the product.

This is the Craigslist ad description.
