    So call it an even $15k with a timing belt and water pump service!? Not bad. I still can’t believe that people can get that much for a bugeye these days. I got mine in 2003 with just under 40k miles on it for $18k

    That's so ridiculous. My dreams of ever owning a better condition bugeye wagon have all but completely died. I don't know if I even have $10k total into purchasing the 4 I already have (obviously the condition of all of them is a huge factor, but still). I think we paid $3500 for the silver wagon with 130k on it 10 years ago. Totally stock at the time still. The rest were significantly cheaper than that one. Haha.

    So... What happened to the back door? And what the hell is going on with the passenger fender? Is that body filler breaking off and just hanging there? Also, hard to tell from the pics but looks like both of the black plastic rocker covers have silver spray paint all over the fronts from trying to hide rust on the fenders.
