Not a "steal", but a turbo RS that clean is very very nice. "rediculously overpriced"? That's a stretch.

i am not seeing 7 grand as ridiculously over priced either. especially if it is a solid swap and the wiring is done well. however, if it is a stock motor out of a legacy sport sedan the tuning potential is a bit limited and it is not intercooled. it also means that the engin in that car could be nearly 20 years old if it was out of a 91 SS that was bought in late 90.

6500 would be a good price with 5500 being a steal. if i were buying i would offer 6 and go from there.

    Yes it would!

It's almost dumb not to buy it for $350. Wish I didn't live in an apartment, so I had a place to store it.

i allready have an undriven subaru sitting next to my garage and a 200,000 mile impreza as my DD, hence my inability to justify this very cheap purchase. i would imagine that a resourcefull board member could get that thing running right for less than 750 including purchase price.

passing along a few wheels that I decided NOT to buy...

These are nice bronze 17" rims. +40 offset. You get EIGHT tires all 215/45/17. The problem with these is that the tires didn't match. Basically sets of two. $450 for the whole package. if you have a fwd car that needs rims this is a KILLER deal. (THE TIRES ARE NOT NEW!)

+42 offset BBS rims 16" CHEAP, they are VW rims, not forged or anything, but a good deal.

front end damage, both fenders don't line up with the doors at all, stage 2, aftermarket bov that didn't bo, chipping body paint here and there due to a respray right over the stock paint, stiffer springs, ac pump delete (probably cause the condenser leaked). Looked fairly decent other than the front end damage, might pick it up and swap bodies with my car.
