I've been looking for an upgrade, but 06/07 STis out there are still pretty high in price for liking.

 

I've seen a couple of shady ones. Not much else though as I'm looking for 06/07 STis or EVOs ATM. Or a 1985-1987 corolla GTS :grin:

I had texted this guy told me the following
*Clean Title
*Valved covers are leaking a little it
*Needs ball joints up front
*Rear wheel bearings but he has a rear wheel assembly
*Cracked wind shield
*Pass. mirror missing
*Pass. side window motor worn out
he puts a "n" instead "and" i don't know if that tells you anything.

 

Looks pretty rough for 76K miles. If you're in the market for something like that I have a 96 LX coupe auto that I'm planning to post up this weekend.

Anyone know the History on this car?

Sounds like it has a Cobb Intake, Grimspeed Air Oil Separator, HKS Exhaust, Coilovers of some sort(that retain stock tophats), Manual Boost controler(maybe hybrid setup?), and then some gauges on the inside.

He paid 40k cuz he's an idiot. I've heard of some dealers marking STis up $8k. Saw some pics on Wsti the other day.

 

So 700 cans of plasti dip makes up the $3500 of parts?

 

What drives me crazy is someone takes a car like that and destroys it. If it was a old WRX, I would be like "eh" but you do not do that to a new car like that!

I would buy this.... but that 08 WRX is pretty sweet. Might offer him 50k instead.

Not worth it in my opinion. That car needs at least 3k in body work to look decent, and that's just what I can see in those pictures. Who knows what damage is hiding under that stuff.

If you don't care about the looks, then maybe. Not sure how do that much damage and not have ever been in an accident. Doesn't seem like its been cared for properly.
