It definitely wasn’t too bad. It’s got the typical bubbling above the rear wheels, but nowhere near as bad as I have seen them on these cars. It’s got 156k on the clock. The guy was regretting selling for that cheap. He said it’s the most interest he’s ever had on a car. There were 3 others in line, who apparently even offered more money. Glad a bidding war didn’t break out.
Saw a number of people on the Subiez page chattering about this. One was apparently the second guy in line and said he called at 4 am and left a voicemail saying he'd buy it.
Imma have to post my bugeye for sale on MnSubiez and Craigslist when the time comes to sell. Should be in the next few months. Time to get some wheels with stretched tires lined up for the pics y0!

MNSubiez is a local Facebook group, but unfortunately it's made up of mostly millennial degenerates. It is, however, a good resource for secondhand parts and almost daily comedy.
https://m.facebook.com/groups/1557059494519522 It's listed as a "secret" group now for some reason so not sure if you'll be able to see it?
Not Craigslist, but BAT. Such a clean example.. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2002-subaru-impreza-7/#PhotoSwipe1514845772249
Reading some of the comments, this one stuck out: "As I grew older, I thought I wanted something more grown up and comfortable, but I keep getting drawn back. There’s a beautiful simplicity to these cars – particularly the earlier ones – that is undeniable. The combination of hydraulic steering, notchy gearbox, turbo lag, (what feels like) limitless grip, and the boxer rumble all in a relatively lightweight package makes them perfectly imperfect, and really embodies that man/machine connection – if you’ve driven one long enough, you know exactly what the car is doing, and, to an extent, how it’s feeling."
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/cto/d/2002-subaru-wrx/6446581417.html $3000 for a 2002 WRX that looks to be in reasonable shape. SALVAGE title, but it was a deer hit 6 years ago. Looks like a decent deal to me!
Here's something you need to help with the sale....streeeeccchhhheeeddd!https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ram/pts/d/18x95-5x100-white-concave/6447181669.html Ha!

Car looks great. One of the nicer bugeyes I've seen in a while. Wonder if it runs as nice as it looks? Doesn't mention anything about rust either.
Man, if I had a pole barn and a way to transport them (and lived closer) that would be a screaming deal.
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/ctd/d/2008-subaru-outback/6456253412.html Manual, low miles. Looks like it's in good shape
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/cto/d/2002-subaru-srp-wrx-seasonal/6463648882.html $4,000 WRX 125k miles 2002 bugeye. Checked it out tonight. It’s a pretty crazy car! I’d say WELL WORTH $4,000. Looks good and fun. Probably “worth” $6,000 or so. It’s just not my style. It’s gonna sell quickly. Guy probably has $12-15k into it.
"if the price is too high go buy a Honda" Any Honda I'm interested in these days is worth more than that is.

And a hyper blue BRZ listed right now too https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ram/cto/d/2016-subaru-brz-hyper-blue/6486191797.html
I saw this one a while back. Salvaged title for that price is a no-go for me. And he sounds like a hooligaan. Lolol(i’m old)
