Was wondering if that was a typo or not. Hopefully whatever trans is in there is in better shape than the motor.
Previous auctions on this car got above 3k but a reserve was never hit. Bid on it over a month ago and forgot about it since it seemed like a lost cause. Reserve is supposedly off now. Most of the bidders from before have stopped bidding so either they thought it was a lost cause like I did or they went and saw it in person and decided it’s not worth it. If someone could confirm it’s a 6-speed or not that would go a long way.
Doesn't a 6 spd trans have a reverse lockout on the shifter? The knob is obviously missing on this one so you can't tell, but it looks like a regular 5 spd threaded shifter to me? (Disclaimer, never actually driven or fondled a 6 spd shaft, have only seen pictures. Haha).
It would have one but could have been removed. The space below the threads looks to be enough for one? Never had mine off to check the distance. Anyone else have some insight?
Anyone know this car?https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ram/cto/d/saint-paul-subaru-legacy-gt-limited/6833063094.html
Yeah, gonna have someone look at that and if it isn't rusty I'm probably gonna have someone pick it up.
Offer less then. The actual probability of finding an 05 SWP LGT 5MT wagon is close to O% if it has the be rust free. These cars rust on the doors and rear quarter panels, it’s just a fact of life.
Re: that wagon, that car also doesn't have a turbo, probably has blown ringlands, the interior smells like a ****-filled diaper soaked in diesel, has body damage on every panel, has a dented in door, needs wheel bearings, is missing or has damage on a bunch of interior panels, in addition to the rust on the roof. I'm willing to entertain a project, but probably not that much of a project. Yes, they're rare. But that one just probably isn't worth it for me.

Saw this morning, I really wanna buy it. And then do what some of the commenters said - take to the PNW and sell it for 10 times as much.

It's crazy to me that stuff like this still exists. Another example: https://stcloud.craigslist.org/cto/d/saint-cloud-2005-subaru-outback-legacy/6857351349.html

I wouldn’t call it super clean, there’s plenty of rust all over the car. Not a huge issue or anything, but that’s probably why it’s not bidding high on BaT. My guess is this ends with a RNM.
