Not a bad price for a 135i. Had better get a prepurchase inspection... https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/ctd/d/hopkins-2010-bmw-1-series-2dr-cpe-135i/6873363024.html
^^Cr@p! It was for either a Baja with a 5 speed OR a 98 Outback also with a 5 speed. I somehow screwed up copying the link.

It's not craigslist, but it IS local (and weird as phuck). I lifted the link from a Car and Driver email (I'm not on A$$Book): https://www.facebook.com/groups/wce...32521967017716/?sale_post_id=2432521967017716

I've always wanted one of these for some reason. Not looking for a winter beater project car though ha!

Super clean, stock, low mileage bugeye on BaT https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2003-subaru-impreza-wrx-3/
Super clean?! Maybe cosmetically. The undercarriage is splitting apart... All sorts of not-stock/not carefully returned to stock things going on with it as well.
Good lord, you're spot-on with that observation. My fault for not reading thought the whole thing or looking closely at all the photos. Guess I was just distracted by it being such low mileage and appearing unmodified. Seemed like a very rare find.
Yeah I wonder if the mileage is low due to an "oooooops, I broke it and insurance won't cover it" situation. But my guess is it went to auction after it became too much of a moneypit/paperweight. Good news for bugeye owners if the market still supports a $7k purchase despite all the issues. Short list of immediate concerns: - undercarriage damage (looks like they hit a boulder. looks like the carpet pad is peaking through. guessing the floor pan is rusting away. would want it on a frame rack) - front bumper fitment is way off (along with the fog lights/covers situation and i-badge I'd guess front end collision. also, the rear bumper is scuffed up and slightly off too) - Looks like lots of popular mods were on it at some point: no turbo heatshield (aftermarket downpipe) rounded bpv bolts missing battery tiedown (along with the witness marks around the stereo I'd check the driver's side firewall grommet, radio harness, clock pod harness, and interior fuse panel to check on how hacked up the wiring is from audio and/or gauges) cc cable routed wrong (maybe had an aftermarket inlet that was returned to stock, would want to check the snorkel) bcs cover missing (would wonder if the restrictor pill is still in place but guessing it had a mbc/ebcs at some point) turbo inlet silicone at the breather line (would guess it had an aftermarket inlet) interior wear doesn't look commensurate with mileage (steering wheel, shift knob, and driver's seat bolster... lots of hard wannabe rally adventures? although rear seat looks like it had a babyseat?) painted calipers (@tangledupinblu must have owned this at some point) kinda looks like the injector brackets are missing (I'd look for witness marks on the turbo mount and feed/return bolts)
