Official Junkyard find Thread - post so other members can go pick them!

Please use this thread to post up your junkyard finds that you think other members may be interested in.

Include at least the following information:

Where the car(s) is located

For example:

There is a very clean white 2000 Outback wagon at Upull East Bethel. The motor is gone. The interior is in excellent shape. Grey heated front seats and all. On another note, they have a whole herd of legacy's up there currently.

 

Wish I could find a Base impreza sedan to snag a wingless trunk from. I don't know why those never end up in junk yards around here.

 

There is a 94 impreza with trunk lid at East Bethel right now-I was there today! It is Red and in the last row on the left second or third from the end.

 

do you know if it had a heated windshield?

 

Also there's an 01 Outback in Green at the Rosemount location

 

I know it had a windshield and I know it had a heater, but I don't think it had a heated windshield. The back glass had the heater though!
Its a four door sedan and the interior is mostly removed.

 

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I was asking about the wagon...

Onamia mn Bud Olson Scrap yard (Ithink its olson) on West side of Hwy 169 just south of Onamia. They have a 93 OBS, a 95 coupe with tan yuck interior FWD and a couple of Foresters.

 

I mentioned making junkyard finds a sticky a while back....maybe this time, not necessarily a sticky, but a place to post boneyard finds. Agree!

 

If anyone sees a 2000 - 2004 Outback, I need a passenger side rocker panel cover in Titanium. Must be in good to excellent shape (no cracks or scrapes). High curbs and wives with poor depth perception don't mix. Thanks in advance.

what color was the 95? did you notice and dents or rust on the doors?

 

It was green and I believe the doors were OK, but I live only a few miles from there and will be going right by it Monday afternoon, I'll stop and look at them for ya. Any other ?'s

Its a blue/green 2 door. The doors are in good shape. no rust is visible, the molding on Drivers door is loose and Driver door has a couple of small dents. Paint is intact on both doors and glass is intact on both doors. Door cards are in ok shape as well. They are asking $175.00 for each or $300 for both, probably negotiable if I know these guys.

Yea, I was somewhat shocked at that price and I didn't even want/need the part. Keep an eye on upullrparts.com they have a price of $44.00 but you need to pull the door off. They have 2 locations- East Bethel on hwy 65 and Down in Rosemount. They don't keep a great record of what models etc are there, they just tell you there is an Impreza. If you want to know if it has 2 doors, 4 doors or no doors you have to come in and look.

 

I plan to go look at the Green Outback in Rosemount Saturday AM. PM if you want me to look for something on it

Went to 101 in savage this morning. Had a minty auto early GC with only 93k on it. Interior was super clean

They also have a 2.5rs but no engine and interior is kinda meh. Front bumper is 7/10 for those who want to swap. Got some dents in it

new 2000 outback up in east bethel just came in this morning. seems like less than 80,000 miles on the engine, already took the hood and crystals though!

aiming for the engine sometime this week so if anyone is gonna get something out of it, better hurry. rather take the engine as a whole.

I was at the Rosemount Upull this week. An entire herd of subarus out there, including about a half dozen 1st gen legacy's, two of which are turbos (motors and hood scoops gone...nice seats still there) Several Outbacks as well. They list their entire inventory online. I pulled two clean legacy fenders and corner markers while I was there...no small feat, when you consider the amount of rust usually found on these cars.

 

Has anyone been to the U Pull in Rosemount in the last couple of days? I was wondering if the Forester they just got in had rear drums or not..

 

U pull in rose mount has 93 sedan white impreza and i assume a 01 red impreza outback (hood and headlights were gone before i got there.)

 

was at upull in east bethel yesterday, very nice condition, except the fenders, 93 winestone legacy sedan (awd), a blue 91 awd leggy sedan, a very basic ( no tach, rear drums!) 96 green awd leggy wagon, 97 green/silver outback and an older loyale white wagon. All interiors either blue or grey.

 

I see no one has posted in here in a while but if anyone is interested there is a pre-99 legacy gt, white, very clean in the Marion junkyard just south of Rochester.

I was wondering if the 98 legacy in the rosemount upull is a 2.5 dohc

 

looking for the rear wagon door hydraulics that hold the hatch up mine went out if any one knows of any wagons sitting around let me know thanks

 

iirc there are a few imprezas sedans and wagons the last time i went to hwy 101 salvage. That was last fall. Give em a call and ask

 

Hello fellow drivers, today i picked up a boost solenoid from a autoshop up in Brooklyn Park, MN.

They have an 04-05 wrx black *rear ended. Id say good for front and side exterior, all interior except for trunk.
I saw all suspension there, no engine, maybe no tranny not sure. Wheels are there *factory

The other is a 06-07 sti blue. *right side impact. All there, aftermarket turbo, intake, exhaust, suspension, i think alot done to it. Aftermarket rims *hold air.

Check it out, he only posted one car on CL, i think.
